The plot would be something like this... In the future year of 1999, an evil scientist named Shauni will destroy most of Africa with his tentacle monsters and minotaurs. They carve a bloody path of rape and murder, until there is only one African country left, Sweden. In order to defeat the Shauni threat, the construct the Invincible? Armed with drills on his shoulders, a laser afro (that fires a laser out of a lens, thus making it hard sci-fi), and flaming rocket punches, its up to Elem to save all the underaged females from the evil Professor Shauni.
But then another robot shows up, with its own mysterious agenda: + Show Spoiler +
This new crazy fuckin Robot beats the shit out of everything, and is really angry. And as if things couldn't get dumber, another robot comes to make it a 4-way clusterfuck, this time with Yuusha poses and lens-flares: + Show Spoiler +
What will happen to Sweden? Will these robots (and whatever else robots I feel like drawing in Paint) eventually work together to defeat Shauni? What will happen to Echoflowne to get it really fucked up and force it to get rebuilt into a more simple design? What about the season 2 badguy, Bigfan? Well I guess I don't really care about season 2 since its gonna suck.
lol. Was a good story until bolded part, what? How can I be the bad guy if I love everything? Bet you didn't think of that! Let's see you try to come up with an explanation for it! :O
Because obviously loving everything makes you a communist.

Maybe it's because you love everything, even things that don't want your love... Or you love so much that you use up all the love in the world and no one else can love, so they are all sad
Re-Kan episode 1: Pretty good, I like the quick comedic deliveries. I assume each episode will be a moral story type thing with ghosts related. No kidding the first ghost was so scary. Forgot what movie it was from that it looked like but I hope they don't show more actual scary ghosts.
Denpa Kyoushi: Animation is meh, started off pretty weak. Similar to GTO but we'll see.
Yuki Nagato-chan: Without Haruhi's crazy antics you don't have Kyon's pessimistic inner thoughts which I loved so much. Nagato pretty kawaii tho.
Arslan ep 1 was decent. Not much to talk about there though.
Nanoha Vivid ep 1 was... I just don't know.
Plastic Memories ep 1 was ok, but I'm not sold. The premise is definitely there, but I didn't appreciate their attempts at humor at all. Everyone in the retrieval service seems like a caricature outside of the dramatic parts. That dissonance doesn't exactly help me take this show seriously. I hope that they'll actually explore the implications of this technology on society instead of just going after episodic tearjerkers.

Nice story. But since you drew a twintailed Mecha in the past I would have prefered a twintail Mecha harem/romcom kind of story. At least it could win that reddit tournament for us.
Ohh man ! I can't believe I have never been to this thread before, I just fell in love.....try to dip into some awesome anime for the first time ever...Attack on Titan !

and i'm terrible at drawing both on drawing softwares and RL drawing .. here i just appreciate people who know how to draw cause i know i can only draw stick people
Wanna know something that really helps learning how to draw? Just try to draw. That is to say most people when they draw just scribble a few lines really quick and go "that looks like shit, I can't draw," and then they give up. They're right though it does look like shit, because they didn't even try.
However, if you actually try to draw, take your time and think about where you put lines and stuff not just scribble some stuff on the page, maybe do a few preliminary light lines to scope things out. If things are going badly just start over, even erase stuff (apparently you aren't supposed to erase stuff when learning how to draw, but I'm no expert) you will be surprised at how good your drawing is. It might still look like shit, but it will probably be much better than you thought you could do. And most people are capable of this ( I'd like to think everyone is).
Alternatively, you could just ask Glider for advice, but I don't if God has time for us mortals.
P.S. I suck at drawing but I've been slowly trying to learn.
prob. idk i tried a couple of times but it's very very lackluster
So I just finished No Game No Life. What an underwhelming show after reviews and hype brought my expectations up. Between child porn fanservice and stupid ass-pulls to turn around games the show hadn't much to offer. The comedy was funny at times and Sora was cool. But that's about it. 4/10 And there I thought I was done watching bad shows for a while...
Miragee stop listening to hype/reviews from random people. No Game no Life is again Meme paradise so obviously it's going to be rated like the best thing ever.

I guess so. Well the premise seemed good to me and I planned to watch it for a while. Then a week ago or so a friend kind forced me to watch it now (you know, the typical "whaaat you havn't seen it, watch it now! No objections!" xD) and I thought "why not?".
I'm confused about what to watch next. I originally planned on watching Steins;Gate but if it should turn out to be another let down I'm going to cry.

It's not. It's very solid. I too agree NGNL is rather bad.

luckily i don't listen to any hype (i live in a box) so i didn't expect much and ended up just watching for 1) holy fucking hell that anime is gorgeous 2) you're right sora is cool 3) LOTY? i was agonising for weeks over whether to spend £100++ on her pvc or doll. also dat ED holy shit. anyway that was enough to make me keep watching. if you really thought it was 4/10 i don't know how you sat through 12 episodes, you probably thought it was 6-7/10 and raging against the people who tell you its great rather than against the show itself.

It's a bit slow paced and SoL at times. I enjoyed it but yea it's not like some super amazing anime. What kind of shows are you looking at watching? I'd say Saki or Hanasaku Iroha(If you haven't seen it and into SoL)

No, I honestly thought it was a 4. I can sit through short shows that are bad even though I usually try to avoid them at all cost. It usually happens if something is hyped or it gets recommended to me by someone and I want to see what the fuss is about. I also usually tend to hope that it gets better over time/later if something of the former two is the case. I have also completed shows worse than NGNL.

Not a huge fan of SoL but I don't mind it, either. I have a lot on my plan to watch list but uncertain what I really want to watch right now. Probably something serious/philosophical/psychological where I need to put some thought into it. Well, I'm away until Wednesday so I have some time to figure out something. And if not I just follow your advice and power watch KnK lol.
