Claymore is good. People don't like it b/c it ended weirdly as compared to the manga. But i really liked it. Also, Berserk is a good one you might like IMO.
Otherwise, similar to AoT how? like what aspects did you really like? the suspense? gore? story?

Alternatively you can actually get bored because it isn't like they make the shows different.

If you like magical girl schlock it's fine. If you're particularly attached to Illya as a character it's fine. I'm not a big fan or anything, but I watch/read because I'm a shameless fan of the Nasuverse. The first arc was kinda weak, but starting with the second, they really went off on a tangent from the usual fate schtick, which did wonders for their quality. The story still isn't particularly notable, but at least they're doing their own crazy thing now. I largely keep reading for the art, archer, and gil. Everyone else is pretty mediocre.

Not that I've seen all THAT much of her yet but probably my new favorite role from her. Umm the entire show was aimed at Kagerou Project fans so the idea of spoiling the story via cover songs is laughable when the story is based on the original songs anyway. The episode titles alone tell you pretty much what it's going to cover if you've ever listened to the music before. And apparently you didn't even notice the insert songs are the same as the episode titles or that they are all written by Jin because Kagerou Project. Alternatively, you can view it as a Vocaloid commercial, in which case it almost worked on you.

I wouldn't go as far as saying they're copy-pastes, but I agree with ZNF and Ecael. The kind of drama they go for, what plot devices they use, their character archetypes, etc. are all so similar that enjoying one show probably means you'll enjoy another.

They have shown an overwhelming preference in terms of original works for a sol self-discovery thing with a dash of shoujo. When the overall structure of the shows aren't too different, the characters end up being pretty much the same thing too.
I did hear talk of nagiasu switching things up a bit, but the people I see liking that show are also the people whose opinions I disagree with the most. Sooooo yeah

Finished Madoka. I think I need to watch the movie because that ending only made the base amount of sense and was really stupid.

Reminds me of the time when most animes had way more than 26 episodes. I kind of miss that time actually. I really enjoy watching long series that I can get into. I guess the funding and the audience is just not there anymore.

Anime like BB would've benefited greatly with more episodes but I guess it's a tight line.

2 cour anime was the normal by like 1995. Only exception are super long shounen stuff and gundam. and more and more anime were 1 cour since 2004

Black bullet shoved a 397 pages volume 1 into the first 4 episodes before the show slowed down to an acceptable but still rushed pace. This is my problem with most manga or LN or novel adaptions. Also, the anime sacrificed a lot of world building to focus more on the characters. Its really the whole thing that makes these stories work. Anime has to sacrifice something due to limited space
I think the only LN adaption that succeeded this season is NGNL with a 300% sales increase on the LN. But this is mostly because NGNL isn't that hard to adapt.
You know, I kinda want a shokugeki no souma adaption. Read all 76 chapters two days ago and I really enjoyed looking at the people describe these foods, the motives of the characters, and how the foods were made. It should be simple to adapt too.

Ehh, even gundam doesn't get anything more than like two course per season now

NGNL is getting a second cour.
Shinpai shinaide.

Summer chart, Nobunaga Concerto:
He must become Nobunaga Oda, the famed warlord who helps unite Japan. They sure like that theme, don't they?
This season seems quite a bit better than the previous one (I really didn't like much...).

Even without reading the LN, it was pretty obvious that they skipped important things in BB. Having characters just appear or hate the MC but never knowing the reason is damaging to the anime because it's taking away from the backstory. Makes scenes much weaker imo.
