Is it really as good as it's depicted or just internethype atm? Because it doesn't look anything like the stuff I usually like but if it's really that good I'll catch up on it now :p | ||

I usually hate violence used as a gag and despite the fact that the "abuse him for 26 episodes then suddenly go full dere in one episode" felt a little cheap at first, I think it was handled pretty nicely in the end. I think I still like Kuroneko a little better, and I have to say that I'm a little sad that we didn't get an Ayase end. It really looks like it's going to end like the novels now. Also, anyone not watching HxH right now is really missing out. It's marvelously excellent. I feel a little bad about missing all the yahari discussion here, even though I read and talked about it a lot on a, but I think it's my second favorite show that's currently airing. While I don't think what 8man did was correct, it was a really special way to solve the problem and in that situation probably also the only one. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Yahari really feels like a breath of fresh air and 8man is great + Show Spoiler + I enjoyed the episode quite a bit actually despite the ending, Kuroneko is still better then Ayase though, looks like Ayase ending is not going to happen but a Kurenko anime ending is still very much possible. SnK is pretty well done, it does indeed portrait despair quite nicely, the last few episodes have been moving at the pace of a snail though. I also feel like the production value has been going a bit down but I don't think I know enough about that. | ||

 Watching Un-GO and so far it's soooo mediocre/bad. Good side: it's short. Only 4 more episodes, hopefully some actual plot finally shows up. Guess I'm unlucky with picking up bad series lately :F | ||

It has a bit of Leleuch feeling because of one of main characters, but the whole detective thing is just... forced. The cases are not interesting, characters are just not realistic at all and the hero always finds a way to solve everything, even without any real evidence. He just knows, which is meh. They try to bring in some seriousness and heavier topics, but it only makes the show worse. But hey, that's just me and my weird taste. Check it for yourself, first 2-3 episodes should be enough for you to tell if you're digging it or not. | ||

That being said I'm at episode 5 now (just finished it) and so far it's decent but no way it's THAT good... I never said it had to do anything with it and was just wondering if it was some what decent or something.
