I'm halfway through second chapter and it feels like a suspiciously small amount of choices considering that there appears to be at least 4 routes. Also, Penguin suit~ The routes in both G-Sen and Sharin are kinda weird, at least among VNs I've played. In G-Sen, if you are doing Tsubaki Route, the game ends with Chapter 2. Otherwise, you move on to Chapter 3, where it will end if you are doing Kanon route. Then Chapter4/Mizuha route, and finally chapter 5 and Haru route. You don't need to unlock any routes for G-Sen or Sharin. Sharin works similarly, where each girl's "route" will happen in a certain chapter, except with Sharin, you go through the entire game, regardless of whose route you are doing (instead of it just ending early).

Elem I just did the Haru route first since she's the only remotely appealing heroine there. For completion sake I went back and finished the other routes afterwards but they're meh. So you can do Haru route first play, and (I think) prepare rolling saves for the choices that diverge you onto sub-heroine routes. It isn't like Tsukihime where you need to finish a Near Side route or something then start a new play, it's more like S;G where there's really only 1 story with some what-ifs on the side. Also is it just me or is there a grudge match between emnjay and moonbear in the works? Please develop.

As a side note, I thought it was pretty brilliant how + Show Spoiler [Haru spoilers] + + Show Spoiler [double protection] + the other routes manage to sustain the illusion that Kyousuke = Maou. Especially in Kanon's route Sharin is the same main story regardless of who you pick, with different epilogues for each heroine. The correct choices are more obvious than G-Sen (As in, "Should I talk to Girl A, Girl B, or Girl C?") P.S. + Show Spoiler [Mizuha route] + P.P.S. + Show Spoiler [Haru ending] + P.P.P.S. G-Sen ending credits theme was pretty good Edit: + Show Spoiler [Ending theme] +

Are you really really sure?" (Yes, it asks you twice) Mizuha's branch point might be a little less obvious than the others relatively speaking, but it still follows the pattern of asking you twice. If you save at every possible choice, you should be able to get 100% completion from a single playthrough. I found it pretty neat how they manage to avoid spoiling the Haru route reveal with some misdirection

They don't mention that he has a brother (every family flashback reference is just him and his two parents) until that final chapter, when they go 'oh by the way he had a brother whose body was never found' and it's like OH OK. Really dumb.

I found it pretty neat how they manage to avoid spoiling the Haru route reveal with some misdirection + Show Spoiler + Kyouhei's simple existence was completely retarded, and is a major reason for me disliking G-Sen (and I'd assume that the other guys on IRC who dislike this game would have a similiar opinion in this regard). The other routes omitting his existence was just something natural, following how the story was being told. IMO "not shooting yourself in the foot" isn't something to be praised as brilliant.

I still think the last Maou scene in Kanon route was a nice touch though, in terms of misleading the reader

But Jormungand, Uchuu Kyoudai, Kuroko no Basuke and Haiyoru! Nyaruko-san (due to hilariousness^^) are more than watchable also I also liked the first eps of AO, and then stopped to watch the original, and it is awesome, i did not watch it earlier because i disliked the artwork of the characters a bit, and expected wimpy angsty children/teenmecha, but it turned out to be a very well done scifi adventure that took the time to actually tell the story and develop characters, unlike most other series. but i still like AO, and i am willing to think they will make a worthwhile story as it progresses, provided it is not only 13 eps or sth like that, at least it is not the total trainwreck that the last exile sequel was (i still cannot believe HOW BAD it was compared the first series) problem with watching a 50 eps completed series during a new season is... i am totally and hopelessly behind on everything, so no spoiler clicking for me xD

I hope they can connect all the different chars in a logical way with the story =( Which is it and which platform? I never played such games...-> total know nothing :D

need disc space 2-6 gigs 1. get the torrent from tpb. there are 2 torrents - get the one with spanish in the descrip. the game is called custom maid and is only available for purchase to residents of japan 2. do the full torrent readme/install process. if you cant find password for that app, its in the installer window that you're trying to run; if you missed it you'll have to close/reopen the installer you will need to set your clock advanced setting thing in control panel to japanese and then reboot comp as prompted. - you can stop here afaik and the game will run but you'll be lacking vital skills (very annoying) - UPDATE - continue with the lengthy process, it just worked for me! create backup of these files incase you need/want to revert!!!!!!!! 3. get this updater and install http://www.kisskiss.tv/cm3d/update.php 4. AFTER doing this, get one of the torrent files thatll come up when you try clicking links at http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php/287573-KISS-Custom-Maid-3D-discussion-amp-FAQ i think the correct file is [120323] [KISS] カスタムメイド3D スキルパック2 + Update 1.22 this is another patch and extra disk. now install them be wary that you are targetting deep enough in the directory when it tells you to locate your game file!!!!!! 5. get this patch "hf patch" http://www.mediafire.com/?9639lq1gpe2sjfd it may be unusable now/incompatible with latest vers, that big thread is a little messy :/ 6. okay its working, now im going to see if i can import my old save file and see if the "extra skills" are available 7. OMG! it works. i have the updated "skills" , translated dialogue is working (except the "change clothes" buttons in H it seems). 8. how to play: use the desktop shortcut that the "hf" patch put on your desktop. http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/Custom_Maid_3D_General_Gameplay http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/Custom_Maid_3D_Skills http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/Custom_Maid_3D_H_Log after 20 game days the credits will roll - if you are below (ie above) level 11 or so then wait it out and you can continue playing afterwards. when your alignment changes you will be asked if you want to change your maid's personality. if you do this then her VOICE will change too. but i think you can change alignment back anyway easily enough. this is their big thread but unless you want to read 250 pages of incoherent coder stuff then avoid it http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php/287573-KISS-Custom-Maid-3D-discussion-amp-FAQ

The original had Renton, one of the most annoying MCs I've ever met. He is the ONLY reason why I didn't enjoy my E7 experience as much as I could have, because he was that much of a nuisance. He was like that one festering worm in my head that kept eating away at the part of my brain that allows me to enjoy things.

Sigh...yeah that is what makes me really wanna rage at those wimps, but E7 somehow pulled it off with the story and other characters. AO has yet to prove the story-part for me. But hey, it might be a bit harsh to try to judge AO after like 7 eps now, when E7 has 50eps to develop a story =) So I am still looking forward to what is happening next

I have like 3 friends who thought the original was the best thing in the world. They think Ao is crap, boring, and that the MC is terrible compared to Renton. I thought the original was bad (well, not bad, but not good either) and I'm actually really enjoying Ao right now. I don't understand. Also, the latest episode. That was gold. Also, yeah when is this Emnjay Moonbear grudgematch happening? Hype and stream with casting please.
