Heard it sucked. Why?
Well the movie is not bad but there is a lot of plots hole...
""Bit spoiler"" Like the way time on arm work is weird and there is no explanation given what so ever... so when you see people "steal" from other while they sleep and stuff like that it make no sense...

On the plus side....I saved some movies on my pc...I liked "Almost Famous" so much :D. If you are into movie like that..plus that Kate Hudson chick was so cuuuuuute in that movie, I loved her :D. Then again I'm like a 13 yr old teenage girl when I see a really cute girl.

Plot holes aren't too bad. I might not have noticed them if you hadn't pointed them out. The bigger problem is the execution and hurrydness of the film. The film had much more potential, though it was good enough. Enjoyable.

I think it's a bit of a fantasy in that sense. I don't always like movies trying to explain everything and try to make it make sense or "real". In the end, it isn't going to be realistic so why bother? I enjoyed the movie the way it was.
An alternative superhero movie filmed from a POV perspective kinda like the blair witch project or paranormal activity. Not as shitty and dull as Paranormal Activity.
Very serious. The movie isn't enjoyable and all hollywood "oh the hero has saved the day and can now get with the damsel in distress." You won't come out of it with a clear emotion. That said, it does develop a particular character very well. Each character's interaction with their gift is slightly different.
Here's the trailer
80 minutes long. My friend complained it was rather short but I didn't notice.
It does grab your attention at some points but never has that level of mysticism and stimulation that a film like Black Swan does.
The special effects are good not great. Budgetary constraints.
Overall the movie is below average but it's hard to tell if that's just because it didn't have a high enough budget. It could have focused on something more. Right now it's a story with no meaning.

I completely agree, I just saw this movie last week. I think that the previews did an extremely good job of foreshadowing what could have been an excellent movie, but for me, the movie failed to deliver.
The movie delved too far into things such as Andrew's "turning" if you will, trying to give him character, but at the same time being extremely pointless due to the following events that occur. The party and school scenes are nearly completely irrelevant to the character development and plot as a whole.
The only positive thing I can take away from this movie is the fact that there is definitely going to be a sequel, and if the origins of the "powers" involved... and/or governmental use of them, with better directing there really could be promise for the future of the film in the sequel.
I'd almost recommend everyone to only watch this after seeing the sequel, Star Wars style, as this alone is not worth the time nor monetary investment.

There's no one left to explore. Two of the three characters with powers died. You can't have any conflict with only one character. I think the ending just serves to bring a degree of closure so we as the audience know what Matt will do without seeing it. It's equivalent to the "happily ever after" thing we hear in Disney movies. I don't think it's foreshadowing anything, since if they wanted to foreshadow government interaction they would have at least had a character from the government. I'll eat my words if there is a sequel though.

Yeah, I'm being slightly optimistic for it just out of curiosity for a continuing plot while also extrapolating a bit. My hope for government interaction in the sequel was mainly based off of the 'convenient' timing of the police officer monitoring the sinkhole where the source of power was. Furthermore, if the government did have access to that power, they would have a lot of explaining to do as to how certain people are able to do these spectacular things. I would also find it extremely cool if they further explained the "link" shared between the people who had the powers, as we know there was some connection that was implied but never fully explained.

What the hell? Another POV movie? I hate this style
Did some re-watching lately:
The Tailor of Panama
Freaking awesome! If you haven't seen it yet (for whatever reason) you should put it on the top of your 'to watch' list this instant.
Sinners and Saints
This was like 5th time I've seen it and it does tell a lot in the days when I can barely watch entire movie once. It's a shining gem in a lake of dung forming around Hollywood recently. Everything in this movie is awesome. And fighting/shooting scenes are one of the best ever.
