I really liked Taken. Yeah it wasn't that long, but the action was great and semi-realistic, and the plot was believable.
I also recently saw Quantum of Solace, really didn't like it. The movie was over 2 hours but it felt simple and too straightforward.

Taken having the simplest plot ever. I really liked the fact that the entire movie was based on the premise that Liam Neeson's daughter was going to Europe to follow U2 around. What? Also, at the end after Neeson finally rescues her, they're at the airport and he tells her he loves her, and of course she says, "I love U2".
Thought it was pretty good, it wasn't trying to be anything else than a high octane revenge/rescue movie.
LOVED IT! WOW. 9/10. The movie was awesome will watch the 2nd really soon. I can't imagine whats going on there now that Brazil is hosting the world cup 2014.
Edit: Don't watch the dubbed version(not that I watched the dubbed version).

I just saw "Friend with Kids" which is the new movie by basically the same cast. It was okay, it had its funny moments but overall it was a much more serious movie (aka much much more of drama than a comedy). I did enjoy Bridesmaids a bunch though.
I loved the movie until X moment, loved it after X moment. Can't really think of a serious criticism I had for it other than X moment. X moment was so goddam stupid and absurd that I had to pause the movie for a minute because I couldn't stop laughing. Here is X moment at 0:30
I just can't get over that line. What on earth were they thinking when they wrote that line or for that matter had the scene actually executed that way.

Anything with Eddie Murphy in it is a comedy in my book. :D

Definitly watch the 2nd one, it's better than the first (both are great). The third should come out soon in Brazil
Rio is hosting not only the world cup of 2014, it's also hosting the 2016 olimpics. Security is definitly an issue =(.

X-Men First Class I enjoyed this movie. I don't think it's canonical and I never got too into X-Men, only recently watched a few episodes of X-Men Evolution. But I liked the background stories.
The girl with the dragon tattoo - not what i expected. I was working p/t at futureshop and a lot of people were looking for this movie. Did not read about it just bought it, watched it, and was became disappointed.
