Its bright enough to get peoples attention and they have to squint to read it, so it like forces them to see the spoilers, lol. I can't wait for the new season to start! Wow, what an epic douchenozzle you are.

Shooting has done for quite some time from what I remember. Looking at the Wiki it seems to have finished up in early December( for season 2, so I would expect something similar this season). Edit: Season three seems to have finished shooting on November 24th. It started in early July, so it is more likely they will be filming season 4 during this years season.

Is it hard to read compare to lotr?( i am not english speaker but i can finish lotr with some difficulty). So many comment said the book is so good. TT A bit harder than LOTR i would say mostly because there are so many characters to remember. If you finished LOTR i think you can manage this one aswell ![]()

TT For the most part, the two seasons so far correspond to the first two books. Season 1 is pretty much equivalent to A Game of Thrones and season 2 is mostly the same events as A Clash of Kings, but some stuff has been rearranged slightly, so there is some material from Storm of Swords at the end of season 2 and some material from A Clash of Kings will appear in season 3. However, Storm is the longest of the book series and has been split up into two seasons, so season 3 and season 4 will both be based on Book 3. I think the difficulty is comparable to LotR, so if you managed to read that, you're good to go for ASoIaF. And yes, it really is that good. In my opinion, ASoIaF is far and away better than any other fantasy out there.

Season 2 of GOT is book 2. But I heard that starting from season 3, each TV season is only 1/2 a book. *edit --- As said above.

TT Hm that's a hard one. :D I did watch season 1 before I started to read the books - did it the other way around for season 2... and honestly season 1 was way more entertaining to me, while I didn't mind reading the stuff I alrdy watched at all. So i'd say go with tv and then book ![]() Yes one book is one season and if you didn't have any problems with lotr language-wise, you'll do just fine with song of fire and ice.

Tolkien is much older , happens to me the same when i pick some H.P. Lovecraft to read , those dont really cater to whats a "marketable" book nowadays , they didnt knew about "cliffhangers" at the end of chapters too. its a different kind of book , Tolkien is much more descriptive than GRRM which is more focused to action and hence theres the "boredom" but also the beauty of it lies in its detailed descriptions IMO , you cant really compare these two authors as theyre from different times. Edit: I think also its much "easier" on the reader than tolkien , most of it because its more modern than LotR.

If you want to start reading the books you can skip book 1 (I recently made this experiment), but you shouldn't skip book 2, because some stuff is pretty different (although pretty much all major plot points are exactly the same), and one pretty important character isn't introduced in season 2 of the show. The only thing from book one that you're going to miss is the R+L theory, which you may now look up on google if you're interested in it (it won't spoil anything from later books/seasons). But while it's a pretty important detail to one of the characters in the show/the books, it isn't necessarily something you would obviously pick up when reading book one, since it's only being hinted at. It's also just a theory... even though most book readers seem to consider it canon by now. Not sure if George R R Martin is ever going to deal with it officially (he probably will).

I first watched the series for season 1 and loved it. Than I read book 1 and noticed all these details that were not in the TV show. Then I watched the show again and understood it much better, the details they tried to put in, the looks on people's faces etc. READ IS NICE
