Since I can't spoil, i agree they changed the daenerys a bit(probably to make it more exciting), and even she ended up at the same place, but other than that they stayed true to the story and characters imo | ||

I then went back to Book 1 and 2 and realized I didn't miss a god damn thing outside some very minor details. The show has been dead on with the books pretty much. Can't wait for Season 3 will probably be the best season there is. | ||

I really don't get people who say they want to start off reading at book 2, 3 or 4. I know it's an opinion but I personally do not think it's worth skipping, it feels like half-assing it to catch up, even if you don't have time to read all of them before the season starts. tldr: read them all from start, even if you're behind the season currently on HBO | ||
