I only remember reading the stupid horse one. You should visit /r/asoiaf for the good theories Sorry all I see there is people who are salty because Euron doesn't have the right costume. That's like saying all you see on the other popular got subs are memes. Are people sometimes elitist there? Yes, but imo most of the time for good reason. If you can ignore that you get the best theories and a lot of tinfoil though.

Well it's not really a meme, but I just find it idiculous how alot of people can be mad because a character doesn't have a clap on his eye. If anything that would come out way too stereotypical on TV.

Compared to something from season 1-4 it's complete trash. I feel like I'm watching the star wars prequels all over again. what makes you say that? I'm not necessarily disagreeing, but could you elaborate A lot of it has to do with phenomenally shitty writing that sounds like it was made by Hollywood hacks and not an award winning author. (Because it was). But the major reason this episode was complete garbage is because it completely overdid it with the CGI and action sequences straight out of the hobbit. Game of Thrones is not a god damn Peter Jackson movie, it's about characters and politics and cloak and dagger shit. This Lord of the Rings nonsense seems like an awful way to appeal to major audiences by HBO by adding more "epic scenes," completely disregarding the fact that it wasn't the shitty CGI and oneliners that brought in the fans in the first place. I made the comparison to Star Wars and it rings true. The original series was all about the characters, it was down to earth and low fantasy. The prequels were a fucking fever dream of CGI, flashy battles and one-liners. This is what this season feels like. They cut every scene short and kill off so many major characters to get to the good stuff which is apparently a giant skeleton army going Ooga Booga. Let me make this clear: Doran Martell died in 30 seconds so that the show could make the stupid green screen battles go on for that much longer. Frankly, it's pathetic.

The most heroic death of the entire show...

Man, that ending hit me harder than the Red Wedding. RIP

Overall it was a great episode but some of the dialogue has been kind of underwhelming. The part where Dany "orders' Jorrah to find a cure is at best downright cheesy, and feels kind of out-of-character given her previously not giving a shit about him. The minstrel scene also went on for way too long, and didn't really give us anything new regarding public opinion of the 7 kingdoms.

Arya's scene by far the best, interesting. Kings Moot was extremely underwhelming, a few dick jokes and Euron wins (there are so many dick jokes this season, kinda representative of the writing) Not entirely sure what i should think of the Hodor reveal... 7/10

If we take all the portrayals at face value, it shows that outside the North, the Starks' reputation has been sullied by Ned's unsuccessful attempt for the throne. Most of the people who knew Ned and/or what really happened are either dead or unwilling to correct the story.

i dont know if Sansa should trust LF about the great fish taking back The Riverlands.. tood good to be true

Okay good episode, New info has been revealed. I just think that close up dick pic was not necessary -.-
The Hodor reveal means is Bran a time traveler? Kinda hyped for the Iron Island story now, at first I thought the old guy drowned and murdered Euron lol
also > not using Sean Bean

Indeed. Can Bran control anyone he's crossed path with, or is there some kind of limitation? If not, I call the nerfhammer on the kid. Hodor was the first "experiment", maybe other main characters of the show are controlled by Bran right now, as he probably will refine his mind control abilities as time goes on. If he realizes the potential of his power, he might become the next biggest villain of the show.
