Part of the problem is that people exposed to all the fan theories surrounding the series will go seek out shit like "Has Jon Snow cut his hair? Is he on set?" etc which then get spoilery. Beyond the shit actually written in the books is a whole universe of theories that you seek out at your peril. Perhaps we should have a "no theories" rule, acknowledging that many of the theories that people will hear about will be influenced by the book and will spoil show watchers.

Saying shit like "the actor for the Hound appears in the show credits" is pretty spoilery when you think about it.

The thing is there are three types of theories.
1. Really obnoxiously tinfoil
2. Very possible but could go either way
3. All but considered canon

There are two cases of number 3 I can think of and both are all but confirmed in the show. So it's not really a spoiler to readers, however for the reason readers can figure out of the show will be using them they shouldn't be mentioned in this thread. All of the number 2 theories are being killed by the show so GRRM still has some tricks up his sleave. And of course number 1 is so unlikely such theories don't really deserve mention in either theory. In other words number 2 shouldnt be mentioned here as they are irrelevant to the show. Number 3 are theories that are almost certainly spoilers for the show thread.

Imo, stuff like "hound was in credits" or "actors X and Y were seen filming at Z" or leaks like that are much worse than book spoilers.

At least with book posts it's mostly just interesting backstories or elaborate theories. The actual leaks are way more damaging than anything from the books will ever be, especially since we don't even know if the books and show are going in the same direction anymore.

Personally I think it's fun to read those fan theories as they add some depth to the story for me. There are several channels on Youtube that do a really good job of analyzing those theories for those interested but it's spoilericious because they refer to books as well.

To be fair, it is possible that with the memory revisiting going on, the hound or other dead characters are simply in one of Bran's peyote journeys. I usually just assume that when a gruesome bloody death isn't shown they aren't dead though.

Seriously stfu about anything that wasn't on screen. A lot of readers don't go scouring the internet trying to spoiler themselves and the one mentioned earlier has ruined what would've been a pretty exciting reveal.

The last scenes are pretty dark and it's a great ep so wait for better quality if you can. Do not check social media/talk to people in the meantime. Probably better if we wait till the proper version's out before discussing it.
