wait really? O_o wasnt theons sister going to do something big? Also what about his dad trying to take the north or somethign i some what remember them wanting some kind of revenge? or was that roose bolten again O_o im getting confused
I don't remember exactly, I know they were sort of raiding the coast but theons dad flipped his shit when theon took winterfell because he was like "we belong on the sea" or whatever, so I dont think he had any real ambition to control the north.
Can't wait for the slave master that Dany is about to randomly marry to reveal his true identity as the master magician that her dragons allegedly burned in that tower years ago :p

Its about quantities you can count and you can not count. Like much rain, many men. Less rain, fewer men.

in medieval times a chopped limb is pretty close to a death sentence, either by infection of blood loss. And that even if he was in a middle of a city surrounded by doctors

I mean, Jaime made it just fine and he lost a hand too. For a couple of days - maybe even a week? I cannot recall the exact time they travelled until the wound was tended to.

Yeah obviously tier lists are a silly exercise, if fun.
What really matters is different expertise, and how it matters in practice and as regards the character. Brienne is insanely good at dueling--she's repeatedly taken on the best in Westeros and beaten them in swordplay with efficient bladework and skillful disarms. But we have no idea what she's like in a battle. The Mountain would be a terror on the battlefield, capable of cleaving through groups of enemies, but his relative lack of finesse made him vulnerable in 1v1. Oberyrn was an insane fighter, who ended up biting it because of overconfidence. Bronn would probably be up there for generally being useful in any situation.
Or how about this situation: who loses in a one-on-one in an open field against a competent archer? That's actually bad news for a few of the best: Snow, Oberyn, and Bronn are all probably hosed. Loras, Brienne, and even fucking Tywin might well make it.

Stannis next in line after Myrcella. Assuming Tommen and Myrcella are legitimate.
Normally, heritage has children before brothers and then uncles, Tyrion should have been the current Lannister top dog, but he is exiled, that means Cersei is in charge (Males only take priority over Females in the same generation, so Cersei comes before Tywin's Brother). Shall Cersei die, Castle Rock should go to Tommen, and so the Lannister heritage falls to Baratheon name.
But since relationships are good between Tommen and Tywin's Brother, Tommen might as well pass it to him.
The Sand Snakes should just make sure that Tommen produces no heirs, and Myrcella is next in line for both the Iron Throne and the Rock. Myrcella sons will have the last name Martell because Tyrion in season 2 shipped her to Dorne to marry the Martell heir.
Still claims are claims, if if legitimate, wars were fought for less.
This is a good analysis. I'm not sure the Sand Snakes are that rational, but if I were Doran, I'd be explaining this to them, and set them off to take out Tommen, not harm their only hope out of a silly idea of revenge.
Also, there's a chance that Stannis would have his claim considered disqualified by some on the grounds of his religion. We haven't seen clear laws on this in Westeros, but I can easily imagine that somebody could oppose it on religious grounds (heck, most viewers do).
Religion doesn't matter when you have the bigger army.
Robert won the throne by conquest, so can Stannis.
Winning the throne is different than being able to rule. If religion was taken seriously, it might be a problem. However, for reasons outlined above, I think he may be able to overcome the fact that his religion involves burning people alive for not joining up.
/*This is, incidentally, a way more aggressive attitude than Christianity or Islam took at pretty much any point; apostasy has often been punished, particularly in the Muslim world where the religion has explicit rules against it, but failure to convert is usually just dealt with via social pressure or heavier taxation (again, particularly the latter in Muslim territories). Christians authories did burn heretics at some point,. Homosexuals had pope's something stuck up their ass. There were dark times in all religion by default caused by people, human civilization in general. Just sayin, humans did crazy things and it's all comparable
Careful reading will get you far. Burning heretics was pretty rare, and where it took place the crime was usually apostasy, not failure to convert to a new faith. Just sayin', even by fanatical standards, the Melissadre crowd is pretty bad.

The question might be asked when he next sees a maester of some kind ... not bloody likely in the next future. Another thing to consider is that people diagnosed with grey scale are sent to live with other infected ones in Valyria ; even admiting to being diseased could mean ending there, which is not something to look forward to.
Would you prefer a small time of almost normal life, or a longer life branded as an outcast ? He already has an experience of banishment from the kingdoms.
Still, we do not know how fast it is supposed to spread (shocking that it is already visible). Jorah could end up like the guys that attacked him in the next episode (zombie infection-like), or get as far as Mereen and start an epidemic there by contaminating others (bad Jorah), or sacrifice himself for his queen, knowing his time is over in any case.

That, and the Maester even recommended removing the whole forearm, or the arm. Jaime decided against it, but I definitely recall the Maester saying the safer course would be to amputate.
Besides, Jaime was still in Westeros; Jorah is currently in Essos, and not exactly close to civilization.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't they burned as a sacrifice first and punishment second? They're not being burned as heresy, perhaps as a easier target but main reason was as a sacrifice to their god.
It's funny that about midway through every single season so far, people complain about not enough happening. It's like they forget that dude(ette)s talking to other dude(ette)s is 90% of what this show is about, with the remaining 10% being a mix of bloody violence and gratuitous nudity.

So true. GoT isn't exactly your average action flick. A lot of the show hinges on character development, dialogue and interactions between people.

I don't care about the violence but with so many story lines going on it's obvious that some of them have been pretty much unchanged in repetition for a good 2-3 seasons now. This show is just too big to fail now no matter what they do.
