This leaves 2 powers for the north. Boltons vs Stannis, and i doubt tywin will help the boltons much. Stannis still has 4k men and just got a bunch of gold from the iron bank, and it seems slowly but surely more northmen are rallying to his side. Stannis vs Boltons vs white walkers. Stannis is my favourite character by far, its a shame people dont give the character the credit he deserves. a roose/ramsay vs stannis/davos fight would be pretty awesome. Davos really is the best second hand in the entire show.
Dont forget the wildlings, they are like a force of chaos who might accidentially help either side, or just take advantage of the fights and try to take control of the north for themselves. Imho neither side has an overwhelming force, I would expect the side that stays out of battles for the longest time, while the other parties are killing each other, should have the best chances. That is, until the white walkers deiced to show up. And Stannis hasnt been in the north yet, or what do you mean by "more" northmen rallying to his side? (Or were you referring to the roose bolton?)

Theon in the first season just sounds like he's struggling to read lines from a piece of paper. Terrible.
Jesus christ I feel like you guys only like actors who get Emee's or something. I swear I do not find the acting bad at all and find it good, but you guys complain about so many it blows my mind.
You either have way to high expectations, or a lot of us have way to low. I am going to go with you have way to high and even then it must be insanely high as I just don't see the complaints valid :/.

Basically everyone in the show gets compared against Peter Dinklage in season 2.

If you want to talk about worst acting it's hands down Shae. And especially since she appeared in scenes with Peter Dinklage, her weaknesses were so much more obvious.
she was a porn actress for the longest time lol
Uhm... she was a porn actress for a short time in maybe a handful of films. And that was over 10 years ago. Since then she has been a professional actress and has won several awards for her acting.
thought she did porn ever since she hit 18 until she got a real acting gig, she can be decent in some scenes but the "love" scenes with tyrion seem forced and fake.
i wonder when we will get to see that kings landing shot with the dragon casting a shadow on the whole city. thats another +1 to stannis since dragonstone is the only castle that will hope to defend against the dragons..

Not really their fault to be honest since the first mountain quit.

How is that remotely apparent? All signs point to Stannis attacking the lannisters and blackwater 2.0. Why would he go north first into ironborn waters when the throne he covets and the lannisters he`s vowed to defeat are just across the bay??
speaking of bad acting, did anyone else felt that brienne's actress is a little bit off in the last episode ? It's like she's incapable of showing any kind of emotion. It's weird because we know she can be excellent from time to time

Yes. That's not her though, it's the writing. Her lines were utterly out of character. Instead of stern, straightforward, respectful and dutiful Brienne, we got sarcastic, pedantic and condescending Brienne. It doesn't fit her at all, which made the scenes a little cringeworthy.
The writers seem to have this need to bring comical relief to the show... First through Sandor and Arya, and now with Brienne and Pod. It's a bit unnecessary, especially when it goes out of character so much.
I don't mind it with Sandor much, even if I am feeling that the Arya/Sandor relationship is growing awfully too friendly, especially from Arya's point of view, since she wants to kill him. That's another topic though. On Brienne, the comical relief struck me as a no-no.

I agree that there is no sign that Stannis is going North just yet.
However, after Stannis receives the letter from the Night's Watch with a cry for help, Melisandre and himself saw in the flames that "the true fight lies in the North". (We don't know the exact vision, but Melisandre says something to that effect and Stannis agrees)

Hopefully all this means that Ramsay will flays and kills Stannis so we can finally get rid of that whiny geezer.

Eventually sure, but for now he still has to deal with the lannisters and tyrells. Surely, Stannis realises that`s the logical first step and the endgame will be vs the walkers. No way he`s gonna leave an enemy behind him in the south when he heads north

I agree, my point was more that we don't even know what he saw in the flames. Only that it put the North on his radar. From the wording it could have been WW, but only Melisandre and Stannis know at this point.

In fairness, I think this show, for all the many things it does well, kinda sucks at love subplots. Any of the folks who supposedly "fell in love" in this show never actually seemed to do anything of the kind; we were just supposed to accept this as a fait accompli after a single semi-romantic scene. Think Jon/Ygritte, Tyrion/Shae, Robb/Talisa, hell, even Drogo/Danny. The show is really bad about setting up relationships in a way that seems remotely proportionate to the emotions supposedly attached.

Yep, and i really like both of them. If there is some sort of way to calculate the chances of GRR killing the character you like, i am sure my chances at getting screw are pretty high right now.

There would literally be riots if that were to happen.

Yea, i was thinking the same way, but i also remember beheading of Ned Stark in season one, which also was pretty unexpected. So mentally am preparing myself for a big loss
Personally I like Oberyn, very charismatic since the beginning, he become my favorite, since all my previous favorits are dead, I feel bad for Oberyn :D
One more thing, interesting to know what kind of role Tyrell's house played in Joffrey's death.
