"Train and get stronger" was the main mode of becoming a better fighter in dragon ball. For Naruto the main more of being a better fighter was being a better ninja, outsmarting and outmaneuvering and laying better traps. It's a problem with the scope of battle, in my opinion. Kishi wanted Naruto to fight and beat a supernatural being. If not to say god, as in "the literally strongest thing that exists". Such things are always bad for stories. It's actually kind of common in Japanese media for the protagonist to fight and kill god. I'm not a big fan of that kind of story telling but I think it could have been done well if, along with getting stronger, the focus was on the tactics. Like we all keep saying I know that's a thing. I associate it more with japanese rpg's, all the way back to Final Fantasy 1 . From the top of my head, manga and anime have a far lower rate of fighting against god than games. Could be that I just had luck in which manga/anime I watched, but still. This isn't just japanese storytelling, all most all of the myhologies incorperate this storyline in one way or another. Like Perseus slaying the gorgon or Cetus. Actually most of these stories I can think of are normal human -> adversity -> training -> super human. although perseus was a demi-god he wasn't battle ready at the start of the story. The big exception I can think of is the monkey king who was born powerfull and goes on a journey of repentence, trying to learn responsibility etc etc. Even Code Geass, when King Charles was all like "we're going to kill God". It's like Blue-Orange contrast. EVERYWHERE.

It seems kind of weird to conclude Harry Potter with everyone just going back to status quo ante, rather than someone realizing they could plausibly take on a real military or a more ominous threat.
Or with movie franchises, the Avengers are already ramping up to intergalactic war. The Transformer franchise has re-written history to be so ridiculous that in the next movie, Michael Bay could plausibly re-write that God did indeed create the world 4000 years ago and the US government knows it but they're keeping it secret as a conspiracy theory.

+ Show Spoiler +Some of these talks were so fucking dumb "okay, gotta go" ie. "okay, I'm dead, cya" And Kakashi's just like "oh, okay" LIKE HE DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK
They also don't give a single fuck about Madara and Obito kinda destroying the entire world and trying to do extremely bad stuff, they're just like "oh, that ? It's nothing, let's just be friend again !"
End plz

From what i can see on the coloured version of one of the pages from last chapter http://www.mangareader.net/naruto/691
Then it seems that the hyuga clan is indeed the brother clan to the uchia, and not a mutation as hinted in the very early chapters,
|
But that's coloured by fans, isn't it?
|
super standard good byes and very predictable, but still manly tears are almost shred
|
Hmm, it was stated before that the Sage's brother had the Byakugan

This series still manages to deliver the feels, even when it's not as good as it used to be. That's what I always loved about it. Wonder what happens next.

Kakashi is going to be the weakest (ho)kage in the history of the narutoverse. Don't understand why Kishi crippled him.
