It's the only reliable way to know there won't be an unexpected new story coming out of nowhere. And considering we've met 5 or so different people/entities that could be believably called god a new threat would have to actually come out of nowhere. | ||

I think what might happen is that sasuke will go on and find his own path and kakashi will become hokage and naruto will keep being himself. | ||

It is still pre-timeskip and 12 year old Naruto had a fever dream(for 350 chapters...) after losing the fight with Sasuke. Real story unfolds from there. Chouji actually died from taking his 3 pills in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc. Neji lost partial control of his arm after his shoulder was crushed by an arrow in his fight with Kidoumaru. Shortly after winning against Naruto, Sasuke got tracked down and caught by ANBU and is currently under arrest and being interrogated. Since Kabuto fled there have been investigations about what he knew and for possible other spies that work for Orochimaru. Next story hook: Jiraiya visits Naruto in hospital. Naruto swears he will hunt down Orochimaru once he is fully healed. The story that | ||
