The one chick reminded me of Faith from Mirror's edge. Yeah, right, I wondered what she reminded me of. They just cram everythin ito this film, from seaaliens to GLaDOS.

This looks totally retarded. Will watch.

I laughed so hard at that trailer. So ridiculously over the top. It might be complete trash or it might be quite alright, we'll see. I sincerely doubt it'll be "movie of the year".

I don't understand if apparently no one there cares about the story at all, why can't they let someone to write good one? T It will be good show, but that's about it.
Btw why in the trailer talk like that those aliens are intelligent? with those bodies and power, they have probably intelligence of a chicken. I was hoping for more sinister threat. Not to mention that this big creatures and robots are unrealistic, but it's ok, since mecha is mecha.
Evangelion has better concept, fighting "angels" with "robots" on pair with them is more epic. And AT field is easy solution to any scientific question.

so will this be the first officially good videogame movie?

The Inception foghorn is really getting annoying in trailers, that said I'm still definitely seeing this just for Del Toro.

I love Portal, just saying.

I came + Show Spoiler + to the conclusion that this could be good or bad, depending on if del Toro manages to pull it off or not.

Looks expensive to say the least haha! Might wait for a DVD of this more than a cinema outing.

people comparing this movie to evangelion... its like comparing a fart to beethovens symphonies. i hope someday a hollywood movie with a great cgi budget gets a movie done that has a story to speak of and is catered to people that are older than 12 years old.

There is no way I'm ever watching this...
|
Godzilla usa version including more budget and no story line ! woot.
The only award this may win is the lemon movie of the year lol.

Stringer Bell should'a brought the ol Barksdale crew for this... Tall man, Stinkum and Weebay would have taken care of business and lit those mofos up.

This movie will be the very essence of "suspension of disbelief". It has the potential to be pure fun and giant robot voyeurism as long as the viewer chooses to understand it that way. Calling this one as a hate-it-or-love-it film with average reviews and reasonable box office.
