ya lol it is a young justice reference xD yeah, idk y everyone is complaining about the adult voices they sounded fine. Also with all the plot twists in legend of korra, i like how none of them have been too far fetched, there's no deus ex, they're all pretty believable and have reasonable logic behind them lol. | ||

I'll admit, I was satisfied with the voices, but for a man who looks like a beefy, elemental master Abraham Lincoln, he's very soft spoken, almost like he was still his kid self. No wonder Toph still calls him Twinkle Toes. Of all the adult voices, Sokka took it. Toph's voice fit her better, but the way Sokka bragged, gave a speech and talked about Boomerang was just nostalgia heaven. | ||

Some of the voice acting was a tad weak though (namely Aang, but sometimes Mako and Bei Fong sound really wooden), a flaw the original series also had. Also Mako is kind of a dull character so far, which also makes Korra seem dull or at least irrational for liking him so much. The main characters in TLA were really vibrant in comparison. Hopefully we'll have more character development to make Mako seem less one-dimensional. | ||

I also thought that as long as Amon did not explain his bending removing technique in detail, nothing really proves it's permanent, even though he claimed it. By permanent I mean that perhaps if it can be taken it can be retrieved. It would be grandiose if Season 1 ended with Korra losing hers and having to roam the world looking for someone who restores them. By the way, I thought it was an Ocarina of Time reference. Every single nerd on the planet has played this game, what do you expect us to think of if you evoke a time skip between two seasons ? | ||

Perhaps Amon merely did for chi blocking what Yakone did for bloodbending ("perfected" it, so to speak), and he's not an energybender at all, just a male Ty Lee on steroids. We don't know, because we don't have enough information. As far as Asami/Mako/Korra goes, I'm unsurprised by the direction they're going. Mako doesn't realize how much he cares for Korra until he loses her (albeit temporarily), a common mistake. I'd be very disappointed if Asami were to turn Equalist simply because of Mako/Korra after showing such resolve against her father's actions. Hopefully the inevitable confrontation will involve nothing more serious than teen angst. | ||
