Boiscouts very good at climbing. They earn badges and ranks.

ugh finally some connection to part I, got really bored of reading part II and was hoping for this arc to end asap

I hope the author tries to fill in what happened to baam from part 1 to part 2 because other than what happened at the end of part 1 I'd like to know what made baam go so dark and badass.

I think the art is pretty lifeless, could use more details

I can agree with you on the background being a little under detailed, but the characters themselves have an interesting art style and drawn pretty well. I think that it may also be a bit intentional to get the reader to focus more on characters and organizations rather than the setting.

Really like this thing. Sticking with it through the unimpressive beginning was well worth it. Now time for waiting-a-week-for-new-chapters mode.

God I love this series. Read every single chapter in a 24 hour span, kind of wish I had made it last a little longer because I hate waiting...
I don't get all these complaints about Season II, yeah the cast is weaker, but SIU has clearly said he's bringing back the S1 cast (hell we just saw Koon), but I personally find Wangnan a much better reason for Baam to climb the tower than Lahel. Also, someone on the Batoto forums was tossing around the idea that Baam was already a Ranker seeing as he and the redhead chick at the end of S1 seemed like they were going to climb the tower together. Thoughts?

+ Show Spoiler +I read up until they got challenged by the lizard princess to a duel over the sword. Character development was just too slow for me. Does the main character remain a bumbling shy guy forever?

Right now he's a badass.

And I don't know why everyone is complaining about Arc 2, yes, Wangnan is not a Koon, but still better than a Lahel (or Rahel or whatever). And shit's gonna go down when Arc 1 and 2 characters clash.

character agendas are inferred subtly for once

i have read until chapter 60 now, great character designs, great characters overall! even the drawings would shame most japanese mangaka, that is mostly the weakness of manwha i feel, and even though backgrounds are often missing and especially gator gets simplified a lot, some scenes are really well drawn and the facial expressions are unbelievable!
i especially like androssi and anak, of the maincast gator is very good, especially the comedic relief he adds.

I wasn't a fan of the beginning at all, but I'm glad that I read on for a little longer; definitely something I'll be following.

New chapter was not the greatest, but I loved how we saw Koon's devious side, and his love of traps and strategy.

Yeah. Never try to scam Koon...
