This thread was temporarily deleted for a little while. I considered permanently deleting it, but I decided to just restore it and lock it (while removing the harshest comments), for a few reasons:

1) Preserving an archive of what was said

2) Future warning for complainers: there's an incredible amount of users who will pile on in these threads. Also, thanks to everyone who reported this (there were quite a few).

3) I guess this is as good a time as any to give an update on ToG. This week, we had two staff members call out (Niiw and CrazyRed98) due to life issues. If you are a donator or someone who regularly lurks on our IRC channel, you probably know the high quality work that these two put in every week and the time frames with which they normally do it in. We currently have replacements who are working / have worked on this chapter (to whom I am--and you should be too--incredibly grateful to), but replacements are typically going to be slower, through no fault of their own. This includes things like interfacing with the ToG team/schedule, which they normally aren't accustomed to, or working with ToG's cleans/sfx, which again, they have less experience in.

4) As usual, I'm going to reiterate our position that we have no set schedule. The most salient reason for this is that we aren't a workplace; we're volunteers. I could go more into this, but I think this proposition and its implications are self-evident.

5) Everyone needs to learn more patience. It boggles my mind how some people would have survived had they been alive 20 years ago (and I mean as a young adult/adult, not a toddler). As far as I know, no one has ever died from waiting for a comic to be released. These sort of rabid, impatient readers really need to gain more perspective. There's more to life than comics, and no, you're not going to die from reading it a day or two later, nor should we die for not putting out our translations within 100 yoctoseconds of the raws..

6) Donations for the foreseeable future are closed.

7) Want faster releases? We're currently recruiting for more staff members. Come apply. Know anyone that can speak Korean / help out in other ways? Direct your friends over to us. Know any cute Asian girls in the NYC area? Direct them to me.

8) This is my 1500th post on this forum. Kinda depressing that it's in this thread. If anyone knows cute Asian girls to make me feel better, see point 7.
