Just finished watching a couple of dramas:
MGIAG - Very cute drama, I loved it. Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min Ah were a great pair. In fact I enjoyed it so much that I decided to watch another LSG drama...
K2H - Pretty good apart from the horrible foreign "actors." They were so bad I almost stopped watching the show, but I'm glad I didn't after all. Also Ha Ji Won is a babe.
And thanks for the History of the Salaryman recommendations guys, I'll probably watch that next.

If you like the LSG dramas I recommend Shining Inheritance with him and Han Hyo Joo who also happens to be a total babe (and quite a good actor to boot). Moon Chae Won is also in it which is a bonus.

Maybe you should skip History of the Salaryman if you want to take the guy's character seriously in Iris 2.

Others that I will never finish - I got through 8 episodes of Love Rain, 5 of Big, 4 of Faith.
Any suggestions on what to watch next? Pretty bored with these romance dramas as a whole.
I think you're missing out on Love Rain. I liked it a whole lot! First half is quite boring but it gets pretty awesome afterwards ^_^

just watched reply 1997 and the king of drama... finished 1st episode of History of a Salaryman... its ok but not great, is it worth it? to keep watching? or jump to another one? Arang and the magistrate is better?

if dramacrazy or viki doesn't have it you probably have to wait...
Anyone still watching School '13? who is that girl which shouts some random english sentence once in every 2-3 episodes? I see no reason why they give her those random " So stupid" "So Boring" stuff unless she was an idol or sth.

I hope to god they have changed their mind and they don't put her in the group..

Watching My Daughter Seoyounog. I love all the characters in this drama so far and actually hope they don't introduce a romance storyline but its inevitable. The only character I don't like is the kid that doesn't like studying. I'll just chalk that up to bad acting.

Hey, can anyone recommend me some k-drama's where the female lead character isn't a doormat for the male lead? I get kind of annoyed watching women getting dragged around by their wrists all day, or easily accept being treated badly by their love interest etc D:
The drama's I've watched so far and enjoyed are: MGIAG - awesome characters and pretty funny! Lie to Me - got very cheesy at times, but was still enjoyable.
I also started watching City Hunter recently. I know the female lead is a bodyguard/judo pro but she still seems like a bit of a doormat for the male lead

My fair lady has a pretty strong female lead iirc
|
Anyone keeping up with Horse Doctor? Its pretty intense show you always wondering when will they meet and whats going to happen next.
|
Finished City Hunter recently. Pretty good show, although the main relationship got a little weak towards the end.
Really looking forward to Iris 2, but I still need to find time to watch Athena...

Not a drama, but you might want to check out the movie My Sassy Girl. It's kind of the opposite to the conventional male-female doormat relationship where the male lead is dominated by the girl

I'm a firm believer you shouldn't watch nostalgic movies unless you're old enough to relate. It would've made no sense for me otherwise, since that's the whole point of the movie.

Try Wild Romance. The female lead is definitely not a doormat. She is doing all the protecting.
