Most of the time I want to drop them at 1, but there are those occasional ones where the first episode is garbage and it gets progressively better. I think city hunter was one I can think of off the top of my head. Did anybody watch Time Between Dog and Wolf? I've been meaning to start that and finish the last 30 episodes Giant, but I heard the former was really melo and sad, whereas I really dislike the female lead for the latter.

Others that I will never finish - I got through 8 episodes of Love Rain, 5 of Big, 4 of Faith. Any suggestions on what to watch next? Pretty bored with these romance dramas as a whole.

Between (1) Time Between Dog and Wolf and (2) all of the dramas you dropped, I would choose the former. Definitely enjoyed watching Time Between Dog and Wolf, and the final impression of the drama was not one of sadness.

Only two shows that I never finished. They were Dream High and Flower Boy Ramen Shop. Just lost patience with both of them.

+ Show Spoiler + Just another good show ruined by the ending. It was so nonsensical that it wasn't even sad. I'm usually pretty good about understanding what the writers are trying to accomplish with certain decisions, but I actually have no idea what the purpose of that last scene was or how it contributed to the story at all.

He did horrible things. Things you can't get away with in real life.

It started so well, which is what got me hooked (other than thinking Chaewon is cute), faltered a little in the middle but still showed promise and then just went completely limp at the end. Cliche x months/years later story where someone goes to America and then faking amnesia into happily ever after? Did they change writers mid run or something? So much potential squandered. Can someone explain to me what happened in the end?? I watched it but I don't get it at all :X

One, the first few episodes of the drama can make or break the overall interest of the drama to the audience. If it doesn't grab capture your attention with some epic backstabbing or murder you'll quickly decide the drama isn't worth watching. Two, the second half of most drama episodes tend to drag out super long with nothing actually going on. I call these the "filler episodes" which last until maybe the last few episodes of the drama.

Edit: Is History of the Salaryman worth checking out? I've heard good things.

I watched Nice Guy which was pretty solid, but more importantly I finally got around to watching Bridal Mask which might be my new all time favorite. Now I gotta find something else to watch... Edit: Is History of the Salaryman worth checking out? I've heard good things. watched it a while ago. my review was kind of disappointing. I liked it a lot in the beginning and then it died around episode 13ish (at least, for me).
