Just because he's stronger than her doesn't mean he will always beat her in every possible situation. Nothing was wrong with it, I just said I liked the fight (well, once they lost the swords. The amount of camera cuts to avoid actually having fight choreography was a shame). Brienne is incapacitated by Biter in the book, having her defeat the Hound in show original content is a stretch.

Brienne just walking around in the riverlands, and bumping into un-dead Catelyn doesn't quite have the dramatic edge as it would have had with a glimpse of her before cutting out in this season finale. Instead we got Arya on a boat.

Fire burns the wights and kills them, see the attack on Mormont, meaning in the books they need a certain level of flesh to animate, but if the white walkers could raise skeletons then fire shouldn't matter unless the fire was so hot it turned the bones to ash. Those were dessicated skeletons, not burnt. Fire would reduce them to ash.

I saw it more as those skeleton warriors just being very, very old wights, to the point where most of the flesh had rotted away. They have been animated for a long time but dormant underneath the ice until Bran and Co. walk by, likely a trap set by the Others considering the significance of Bloodraven and their inability to actually go after him. I don't know why people need to overanalyze everything in the show looking for plot holes and missing pieces. That scene wasn't great, but it wasn't because the skeleton warriors are something we haven't seen in the books. It's pretty easy to explain away given what we do know.

I read the books and I don't know the answer to these questions. Nor do most others I expect, the white walkers and their powers of necromancy are still quite unexplained I thought.

Am I missing something ? It's not as if she was some important part of the story either. She literally does nothing. She has what ? Two lines ?

The character was boring beyond mesure (in my opinion) and because she isn't dead (or was dead and now isn't) makes her what this episode was supposed to be about anyway ? I remember reading she was alive, thinking "well damn, out of all the characters Beerric could have kissed, he chose the wrong one" and turning the page. Am I missing something ? It's not as if she was some important part of the story either. She literally does nothing. She has what ? Two lines ? she could get more important though, there are a few theories out there ^^

I couldn't take all that whiny internal monologue without any progression. I was so glad after the Red Wedding and relieved that LSH won't talk and likely doesn't have any thoughts that would make for a chapter.

Her only role is to foreshadow Jaime's... uncertain future. I disagree with most people saying that LSH reveal would have been the perfect cliffhanger. It would have been a good one, but I think that opening up story line like they did with Arya creates more hype. LSH wouldn't even have been the most talked about thing, it would still be the death of The Hound and Tywin, as they were well liked characters amongst show watchers while Catelyn remained a character most were feeling either neutral or negative about, because she was always in scene that involved more charismatic characters.
