Btw Cat's acting was superb at the end. Made me like her character, which I never really liked for a second in the past 5-6 years.

If she doesn't at least make it into the finals for an Emmy, i dont even.

Made me like her character, which I never really liked for a second in the past 5-6 years. Definitely an Emmy-winning performance. I personally have really liked Cats actress since the start. Some disliked her at the start because she looked "too old", but I think it was a great idea to age all the characters for the show, Ned and Cat being only in their 30s seemed just weird to me. Now I literally can't think of them without thinking Sean Bean and Michelle Fairley.

Every reaction video, when it starts with a reader smirking as they drink the delicious tears of the non-readers. I'm taunting/pseudo-trolling my non-reader friends with Tywin memes/gifs, and a youtube link to the Rains of Castamere. EDIT: Like so: + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]()

EDIT: Like so: + Show Spoiler + While you do that, you said you were a book reader and after a HUGE explanation of the Rains of Castamere you explicitly said it's a Tywin plot. But that's maybe something for next week, let them speculate, because when I read it, I thought it was a revenge kill from the Frey's until later. You also said something like "Catelyn should have grabbed a halfwit grandson", that's not what a normal person would say. I could have PM'ed you asking to remove it or change it, but I just want to make it clearly open that these kind of statement are horrible and misplaced.

Shouldn't Daenerys know by now that Jorah is a spy? If I remember correctly she sends him to enter the city through the sewers as a sort of punishment, and then when he is back she bans him for life, when then he, much in the future, meets Tyrion and etc etc. Unfortunately I think we all got spoiled by the series since they KILLED Robb's son.... I'm pretty damn sure in the books Jeyne (Robb's wife) doesn't go to the wedding to not offend the Freys, and if I'm not mistaken Jeyne is pregnant. So in the series Robb now has no heir, while in the books he does, which means Robb's son will not take any major role in the following books! ![]()

I guess you could say it spoils the fact she won't be a major character in the future. Pretty much my thoughts. Was kinda an interesting tidbit for the readers closing a rather annoying little plot "hole"? The only thing that has me curious with this episode is I really didn't expect the siege of Yunkai to be pretty much "over". What the hell is planned for the next episode. I was kinda expecting a more focused episode with this one, and instead they advanced pretty much every storyline. From that episode description floating around we are likely going to see a scene of Joffrey disgustingly joyful at the events that transpired while everyone else is trying to wash his hands of it leading to a confrontation with Tywin. I though the 10th was going to be Dany heavy, but there really isn't all that much unless they make her reach her next destination in one episode. Just hoping it's not too much filler. On a side note... Being a reader and going on other threads is delicious. IGN comment thread on the review (Matt Fowler loved the episode) had a delicious comment: R.I.P Cat Stark with an image. The only replies were like chuckles and giggles.

Well, since the TV producers have been liberal with re-ordering story points and whatnot, it's entirely feasible (especially with the last Melisandre scene and the leeches) for both Balon and Joffrey to bite the dust in the season finale, which would be fucking sweet.

Nah, there is no way they'd kill off Joffrey with such short notice, especially since they haven't introduced the Martells at all. Balon's death is definitely a possibility though.
