You'd think that a woman as crafty as the Queen of Thorns might have wanted a back up or two in case her gay grand son doesnt produce an heir. And in fact, wasnt he in Renly's "Rainbow Guard", which presumably would get promoted to the real one, thus again, making him ineligible to inherit Highgarden. The only explanation that kind of makes sense is that the woman of Highgarden are all manipulative geniuses and they dont care what the last names are as long as they control their men. Anyway, it seemed like a lame way of getting the Tyrells to agree to the Cercei wedding. Especially after Orleanna handled Tywin so thoroughly last episode.
Unfortunately, as far as the show goes, his brothers don't exist. With Margaery marrying into House Baratheon, Loras is the only remaining child of Mace Tyrell and would be the sole heir (unless they introduce other Tyrells).
I think it's just the bad end of a huge chain of changes from the books to the show. Initially, the changes weren't really a problem, but at the end of the chain it leaves some unanswered questions - like why the Queen of Thorns wasn't more aggressive in her negotiations with Tywin regarding how much the Tyrells are contributing to the Lannister war effort.

People in the show thread are saying that the ship at the end was Littlefinger sailing to the Vale and Sansa was looking at it as she had refused the chance to go with him. Is this true? It would change the plot completely.

Lol I thought Ros will replace Dontos, who is going to take Sansa from Joffrey's wedding? Also Loras being the sole heir to Highgarden is just dumb, and i am dissapointed with lack of Ramsay's identity revelation.

It looked like a Mockingbird and I assumed it was Littlefinger sailing to the Vale.
Sansa is crying because she lost her way out of King's Landing through marriage to Loras and is wishing she had taken Littlefinger's offer (not knowing it was his fault to begin with).

I guess Littlefinger comes back for Joffrey's wedding then and takes Sansa back to the vale.
Edit: I forgot Littlefinger does leave King's Landing in the book.

Oh yeah. I remember now :D

Isn't that how it happens in the books? I could have sworn it was.

I don't get what they are doing with the Loras character here. I just assumed they would have his brothers as off screen entities or something even if they moved him up to being the eldest but he is the sole heir too. It seems like it will be a ridiculous screw up by the Tyrells to have their only heir join the Kingsguard later.

The sigil was most definitely a mockingbird, the Tyrell sigil is a golden rose.

Yes he was.
I really like the show thread, people are calling for Sam's head. I can't wait until next week when he becomes "Sam the Slayer!".
EDIT: Those open spots are filled by that one Kettleblack and Ser Loras.

He filled Ser Barristans spot.

That episode was kinda slow, nothing really happened although Littlefinger's speach was quite awesome for the sc2 community: "only the ladder is real" ahaha

what do you think is the meaning of the Arya - Mellisandre scene? She clearly sees Arya doing some assassinations, but also says they will meet again, is that something that is gonna happen in the last 2 books?

Loved the epsiode, especially the Thoros/Melisandre dialogue was a pleasant surprise for one who generally doesn't enjoy going of book.
and lol they've changed the loras tyrell wiki. http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Loras_Tyrell like two weeks ago that page confirmed Garlan and Willas. I thought the site was somewhat official by HBO but I guess it's just a private person running it.
Concerning the RW party poopers. Read their posts. It's blastedly obvious they know what's coming. Not guessing. He has Frey's entire army, save for the 400 men Frey left for himself. Wasn't it implied that Frey's men may have left Robb's forces the day he married that foreigner girl? Just by common sense you can assume they did, but the show did a fairly poor job of showing it. Infact, if you really think about there is no reason whatsoever for Robb to go to the Freys if he wants to attack Castlely Rock, the Freys aren't a military power house and the men they gave him were hardly a balance changer, what made them so important was the position of their castle which was needed to access the south. Since Robb is planning to attack west he doesn't really need them. In other words, the show writers dun goofed. It's not enough to tip the balance in the war as a whole no, but it's enough to take casterly rock, or at least that's what he implied in the last episode. Exactly how he is going to convince Frey, and what he's planning to do after claiming casterly rock isn't revealed, but it seemed like he had a plan. In other words we were left with a cliff hanger. I think he will end up marrying the girl he was supposed to marry when he asked the Freys permission to pass the bridge. There's nothing besides that I presume. And to be honest from what we saw from them during Season 1 I would say they couldn't care less about Casterly Rock. No one who wants anything at all would turn down Casterly Rock if offered it, Casterly Rock is the key to the greatest source of wealth in Westeros. There's a reason the Lannister's are so absurdly rich, they own the gold mines of Casterly Rock. At this point, without Karstark's army I don't even think they could take Casterly Rock. Like I said before, if the Freys are not happy with Robb it will be easier for them to betray Robb and sell him to the Lannister than joining him again. At least in a logical way of seeing it. What other options would the Freys have? It's really hard to see a solution to it because Robb could also "easily" take The Twins with his army but lose even more man (considering of course that Walder Frey's army is actually that small). Look at this asshat for example. This guy tries to claim that he believes Robbs army could easily take the twins at the same time as he think Freys could easily betray Robb (and sell him to the Lannisters, details makes it extra obvious)
It's one thing guessing that Freys would want revenge against Robb. Another to "guess" that they can do it "easily" and how they will do it when Robb is the king and has a big ass army Especially when how they can do it isn't possible because there is a missing ingredient. Bolton. But the speculators who "guess" the Freys will betray Robb but doesn't have the slightest theory on how their smaller army would successfully get away with it without getting obliterated by a vengefull larger army.

Reading the other thread has made me suspicious, but guessing that the Freys are conspiring against Robb really isn't too far off I'd say. I keep saying this but the fact that Robb is walking into a trap becomes increasingly obvious even in the books.
When people start guessing Catelyn is going to die and that the Freys will actually break the guest's right, well then the red flags start to get raised and I do think they're just being douches and "predicting" what they already know. Luckily I'm not seeing that yet.
I'm hoping they leave out the exchange between Roose and Jaime of "Give my regards to Robb Stark" in the show. That's in the book and was one of the biggest giveaways out of several others.
