| Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. | ||

If the bullet fragmented before it entered the kid then I guess he could count the number of wounds. Just a guess though as it looked like the kid has multiple entry wounds. Anyway good episode. The sense of urgency and hopelessness and wtf are we going to do was there a lot more. So many things happening at once that threaten this group staying together.

Next week looks like it has plenty of zombie action though.

The show is quickly going downhill. How these people survived this long is beyond me. The big problem with the first episode of season 2 was how they + Show Spoiler + ended up on the damn highway . When I first saw the guy on a chopper, I thought, ok, he's going to ride ahead and scout out the roads. Then I thought, how are they going to communicate. I see it didn't matter, since he didn't scout at all and they all got stuck on the highway. Then, wow, dozens of walkers get up to like 50 yards from them. Great. That was just a few of the problems. Oh, and like others have said, they are all walking in a group in the woods, + Show Spoiler + then blond chick magically gets separated and attacked by a walker. This guy is wrong on a few points, but basically nails it. http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/kschlichter/2011/10/19/is-the-walking-dead-terminal-yes-because-its-stupid/

I think it's all been setting up things pretty well - people complain about how little zombie action there was, but I think it's got a good balance. The reason zombie scenarios are so intriguing (to me) is because it presents a lot of ethical ideas on the table. Really cool stuff I think, I guess I'll be forever alone in enjoying the show, hahaha.

I mean look. First season while zombies were present and a threat. Shane, merle, the hat guy who is bit, and later the cdc guy were the REAL dangers to the group. Because they aren't mindless, they aren't predictable, and humanity takes a shit on itself when society is removed. This hasn't changed this season with otis not some fucking zombie hurting the child. And people turning on rick for losing sophia. These are the things splitting and harming the group. Hell look how quickly they fixed the black guys imminent danger with drugs. All things zombie involved are largely trivial compared to what the people themselves put themselves in.

Didnt like second season didnt like first episode of new season. fuck sake, stop watching! do us all a favor. Now i must say you all have valid points about the show, well most of you. But if you do not like it, please please please just quit watching it. Dont come out with bullshit that "your a fanboy this is a discussion thread" - You are watching a show that you think is bad purely so you can come and SHIT all over it - whats the point? explain it to me. Go back to your ladder games for the one hour on a sunday night. I really fail to see why week after week the same sad people come in here and moan about how bad it was. Sure, i agree it isnt the best shit thats going on. but i prefer it over alot of the crap on TV atm. JESUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUS. Rant over. EDIT: on a side note, what happened to the rednecks brother who lopped off his hand after being trapped on the roof? loose end right there. And morgan the black dude and his kid, where the fuck are they? they gonna be found at some point? dead i suppose as he keeps chatting to nout.

Daryl (and Dale to a lesser extent) are the only people I care about because most of the time they are the only ones that have any sort of a clue. Even then, as that article points out they still manage to look like total dunces on occasion. As much time as these characters spend bitching and moaning to each other I feel like I've learned nothing new about them this season. Who they were before the zombie apocalypse, how they got here. Its like the writers decided to do there bare minimum as far as character development goes in Season 1 and expect us to ride it out while the group falls apart arguing amongst itself. Hell one of the reasons Daryl is likable is because he seems like he's already fed up with it as well. edit: To the people whining about the criticisms, would you relax? The only reason we're talking about it and still watching is because we want to like the show. Its just becoming exceedingly difficult to do so.
