Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

Name a single black person who is known for wielding the sword in real life. Or bo as a weapon. As PC as you'd like to be, it is still Asians who are still practicing martial arts weaponary today. Black people use guns in America.

Right? Come on Glen break out the kung fu, and what is this non-sense with Maggie not being pregnant and give me a break with having a female leader of the town, get real with the garden too, everyone knows they should of had Rosita working on that, right guise!?
+ Show Spoiler + So yes, yes I did. Join us in the 21st century would ya?

The actor playing michonne or her stunt double. You don't have to be asian to pick up a sword. Thinking that this of all things makes a show unrealistic is ridiculous.
|
Morgan being fluent in kung fu in an undead world and suddenly able to take on five guys is fucking ridiculous. Not even many black belts would be able to do this and they train all their fucking lives.

S2 is really shitty. S3 is good, S4 is amazing, S5 is okay. S6 starts great !

+ Show Spoiler +Well.. If rick's group wasn't there... They would have kill everyone.

Morgan probably learned fighting before the zombie apocalypse, and has constantly been using his skills in practice ever since. His opponents are untrained cannon fodder. Also, the quarterstaff has a large advantage against a knife due to reach. It's very plausible that seeing the first one or two attackers getting their teeth kicked in would scare the rest. People in real life won't just fearlessly and selflessly throw themselves at a more powerful enemy and deliberately take a few losses to take him down. That's not how people behave. So while I think Morgan would still be at a clear disadvantage 1v5, winning isn't impossible, and the assailants just not bothering with such a strong opponent sounds like a reasonable outcome.

Actually he said in ep 1 he learned it after the apocalypse.

What ? You don't believe in the cheese maker ?

So in a zombie world we are getting picky about people winning against less trained humans? lol, please guys, i didnt like the chapter, but that is too much, just go outside of your house if you want some reality feeling.

So what's up with Morgan being super idealistic now? After Rick got through to him did he just do a complete 180 and went from telling carl he doesn't have to say sorry for having shot him (cause he knows in this world, only the ones prepared to survive, will survive) to running around complaining about killing the people who are literally running around dismembering and mutilating the people he lives with?
One thing i think the walking dead does great is character development but with Morgan it just seems like he regressed to a person from before the outbreak and it's annoying the hell out of me.
Edit: Carol is one of the characters thats gone through the most, love her character development! From being beaten/submissive to her husband. Losing him and losing her child. The group becomes her real family and is prepared to do everything for them to keep them safe. She grows more independent and becomes very strong compared to how she used to be. She pretty much adopts Mika and Lizzie and she's forced to put down Lizzie herself.. No wonder she kept Sam at an arms length! Man she's just gone through so much and developed as a character.. can't get enough of her!

I see it as Morgan still being crazy. His actions and beliefs are not reflective of the reality of TWD universe. He just went from one type of crazy, to a different and possibly better type.

Incredibly boring episode, just mindless action with that annoying negro who indirectly lets people die around him cause he can't decide. Only plus was carol cause she just cares.
This show is a lot of moral moral moral, the most boring stuff you can bring into a show. An inspiring purpose is lacking. Survival don't cut it.

Could you please stop calling African-Americans "black" please? There are many shades of brown and calling them black as if they sooty-faced is offensive.
Negro superseded colored as the most polite word for African Americans at a time when black was considered more offensive.
One well-known example is the identification by Martin Luther King, Jr. of his own race as "Negro" in his famous speech of 1963, I Have a Dream.
The U.S. Census now uses the grouping "Black, African-American, or Negro."

People used to think keeping slaves was okay - that doesn't mean we should keep slaves now or stand by our rights to keep slaves. Negro is now considered a deregatory term whether you like it or not, and I would very much prefer if you stopped promoting its use.

It also states: According to Oxford Dictionaries, use of the word "now seems out of date or even offensive in both British and US English"

If you want to say n**** without actually saying it, use "thug". It basically means the same thing and no one can get pissy at you for saying it.
