If Glenn dies, then that's a shitty death. If he doesn't die, any excuse they make for him being alive is going to be awful. There's basically no good way to salvage this situation.

Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Glen has always been that pillar of helping people and giving them second chances when they probably didn't deserve them. The theme this season so far has been giving people second chances gets others killed or puts others in danger. His death would have been a good climax of this theme, hitting home with the audience. That being said, I don't think he's dead, unfortunately.

HUGE COMICS SPOILERS! + Show Spoiler + If they manage to save him, it is just to get a taste of Lucille and die a glorious unforgetable death like it was on the comics! But would be a major bullshit move to save him now.

If this surprises you, you haven't been paying attention. I think they hinted at how Glenn escapes by showing the fire exit leading to the roof of a building (bringing us back to season 1) Either that or it was supposed to show he was choosing to stick with idiot instead of choosing to save himself.

But, it's dumb in terms of the show. Freaking Tyreese got an entire episode to his death and we barely got a full season with him (though he was a much more major character in the books) and even minor characters got more fulfilling on-screen deaths. With this shot, we got him falling and then about 10 seconds of guts and a cut away. Just from a storywriting perspective, that's really not how you kill off a main character.

If they chose to kill him there, there was no one there to destroy his brain, so there's a possibility he comes back as a zombie where we get the full "death" scene with Maggie, etc.

I was reading about this yesterday after the show and people recalled how at Batman Begins, Ken Wantanabe kept giving all his interviews as if he were Ras Azghul On October 27 2015 04:22 GreenHorizons wrote: Actually the second time they specifically have been warned about it in a few days. That dude def did not use that accidently, but I would say the mods overall are usually good. Alas, that slipped through for whatever reason the first time but Zealousy took care of it after I reported that other gross post so all is well also I did not see it anywhere, but did Michonne get cut/bit at the very end? And Rick also cut himself.

I mean, it's bullshit, since the zombies should just continue eating into him. Not to mention the odds of not one of them biting his foot or arm or something else sticking out. I'd be pretty impressed if he did die though.

It's not like Nicholas is much larger than Glenn or something. It also felt weird when entrails came out at shoulder height so obviously that was Nicholas but they're really stretching it with this if Glenn walks away. I'd believe it if he was wearing full riot gear but with regular clothing a single bite would be enough. Also, way to let the guy at the fence die a slow and painful death for no reason. Just katana him through the face and put him out of his misery. Same with the girl and the ankle, I'd have shot myself in the head at the last moment rather than let them eat me alive or one of the other survivors could've shot her in the head as they got close, I mean come on. Also, Rick being a total badass again, showing the advantage you have when you don't hesitate and go for the kill. It was a bit off that the second guy grabbed Rick rather than slicing/stabbing him with something though, similar to how that mom got the one Wolf that casually walked over to get her gun after only knocking her around a bit. The other three were again Rick making a hard call, not being 100% sure who they are (but having a good idea) and choosing not to take any chances. Also, both the 'dumbass' comment from Glenn to Rick and Rick being stuck in a vehicle surrounded by walkers is an obvious callback to the pilot episode, likely to strengthen the belief that Glenn died. I suppose it is possible Glenn does die and they're just leaving it vague but given that Glenn was supposed to be going through a rough season from what I've heard, I'd doubt he'd die this early in the season.

I'm pretty sure this is the group that Morgan disarmed, so unless the second guy wanted to waste time getting a weapon while his friend was on the ground getting the shit kicked out of him, attacking Rick unarmed was really his only option.
