Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

I will admit, he has been off to the side and all but forgotten. Part of my job as showrunner has been to really address and develop Rick's character. And some other stuff. Poor T-Dog was left by the fire. Now that he has survived the finale, we're going to correct this. I think IronE Singleton has done a fantastic job of establishing a character, and making people interested in him, with very little to say. That is a strength of the show moving forward. That is a character we are looking to develop in a significant way. We haven't done our work with T-Dog yet, but we are going to roll up our sleeves and get through it."

I bet merle comes back next season and their conflict will be a focal point.

I just came across a stunning realization. The helicopter led Rick into the a herd which forced Rick to hide in a tank, then led a herd to Hershel's Farm. In season 3...
+ Show Spoiler [COMIC SPOILERS] +Assuming the TV writers are going with the same general idea with a helicopter from Atlanta in the comics where it crashes near Woodbury, that same herd may end up attacking Woodbury and The Governor.

I finally decided to start watching, and after having watched zombieland I'm entirely desensitized to the over the top uncensored gore. I even find it kinda funny some times. Does anyone else get that?

+ Show Spoiler [Comic Spoilers] +That really wouldn't make much sense to me though, in the comics those in the prison were hulled up there since before the outbreak started, how would Meryl get let into the prison by himself? assuming he found it
I'm definitely happy that T-Dogg is getting more lines next season, I think he's still definitely unexplored as a character.

Can someone explain to me why they would go inside a prison in the first place? I mean yea its a nice defended location but its called a prison for a reason. 100s of murderers, gangsters and rapers would await them in there. Why would they risk that? Id rather run from zombies and find a better place than go in there!

Comic spoiler + Show Spoiler +In the comic only 3 inmates were alive there. The others were dead and many locked in the several blocks. The prison was a good place to stay because the normal inmate population was of several hundreds and a facility like that needs to have a high level of autonomy. Generators for electricity, a big supply of canned food and water, enough room for everybody, outdoors areas with huge double fences separating from the prison compound, vigilance towers. The big bonus was that being a prison, there is an armory for the guards full with shotguns, pistols, ammo and full riot gear, including kevlar vests and pads, helmets and shields that offer almost infinity protection from walker's bites and scratches. Expect season 3 revolve around the prison because they will get confortable in there. Except when shit hits the fan....^^

+ Show Spoiler +Zombified, the guards let everyone out either to help them get out or to avoid leaving them to starve. Most of the prisoners got bit, the last four were locked in the cafeteria by the guards just before they got out.

Holy shit! I just realized glenn is the asian kid from the Goonies, the one with all the gadgets!!
|
no he's not, the kid from the goonies is the same that played short round in Indiana Jones 2

Wow, just watched that last 2 episodes. Rick killing shane was pretty emotional, but guess it had to happen eventually.
The finale seems to set up fantastically for season 3, but it seems like Rick is setting up to become the new Shane, which would be extremely annoying.
Also, can anyone tell me what date "Fall" count's as please?

In before "all asians look alike" jokes.
But seriously, the kid from The Goonies must be like 40 by now. There's no way it's the same guy.

It's definitely the same, don't you see the resemblance of the zombie in the well to Sloth?
On a related note, I'm somewhat discourged that I don't have my sunday evening post-work Walking Dead to watch. I enjoyed the way this season wrapped up and ordered the comics to read for the interim(despite spoiling myself on purpose all the time.)
