Next, Glen Mazzara touched on IronE Singleton's role as T-Dog, and the fact that he didn't do much in Season 2. Will that change in Season 3?
"I've been surprised at this. I have worked on shows before that have characters in the background, and they have been on a slow burn. With T-Dog? I will admit, he has been off to the side and all but forgotten. Part of my job as showrunner has been to really address and develop Rick's character. And some other stuff. Poor T-Dog was left by the fire. Now that he has survived the finale, we're going to correct this. I think IronE Singleton has done a fantastic job of establishing a character, and making people interested in him, with very little to say. That is a strength of the show moving forward. That is a character we are looking to develop in a significant way. We haven't done our work with T-Dog yet, but we are going to roll up our sleeves and get through it."

I don't get why people like T-Dawg so much. He hasn't done jack shit to make me like him as a character. Like, literally, zero character development. Also he's still calling himself T-Dawg, which is just retarded. It's the apocalypse, who cares about your street cred... call yourself by your real name ffs... or pick a street name that wasn't thought up by a 12 year old. T-Dawg? Most generic nickname ever.

I like him mostly for the amusement factor. Its fun to see how many lines he gets an episodes and whether it was a significant scene or not.
How do you know T-Dawg isn't his real name??? Just because he's black doesn't mean he's from the streets and a gangster. How do you know he wasn't the president of some multimillion dollar company.

can't believe dale died, I know I'm late to the party but he was a main stay character in the comics for quite awhile if I remember correctly. I know he was alive a lot longer

Watched this series from start to season 2 finale last week. Must say I like it quite a bit even if it is very cheesy and predictable at times. And some things doesnt make sense to me. However I am waiting for season 3! =)

So I got the compendium and I must say, quite a bit of differences between the comics and tv show. Especially some of the characters. Anywho, a question about the comic:
+ Show Spoiler +So.. is T-dawg suppose to be Tyreese?? Definitely can't see T-dawg being a badass with a hammer, bashing walker skulls, taking out a gym full of zombies by himself. Why did they opt to leave such an awesome character out T_T.

+ Show Spoiler [Major Comic Spoilers] +I don't see it either. People in this thread have suggested Daryl = Tyreese. But I suspect they are planning on having some different characters than the ones that were in the comic. There are a few things from the comic I don't see AMC going through with, like the Tyreese decapitation or Lori's baby exploding.
