Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

I also will enever get why people wont call zombies zombies. As if zombie movies dont exist in zombie movies.. Oh well all in all pretty entertaining. Its a soap opera with zombies.
Could be that the reason why no one refers to the Walkers as Zombies is because that they are in a universe where the "zombie genre" dont exist?
I dunno. Just a thought.

Probably every attractive female on the show?

Kirkman answered this in the letters section of one of the comics but I can't remember his exact explanation. I'm pretty sure it was just "There is no zombie genre" or whatever, like you're saying.

So Lori is trying to make Rick turn on Shane?? That's the vibe that I'm getting after that last scene in Tiggerfinger. Am I just pointing out the obvious or am I missing something?

Ya he must be talking about Carol and not Lori, Magie, or Angela...

How are any of them sluts? Lorie is the only one that could maybe be called one, and she did think her husband was dead...

+ Show Spoiler [Comic talk] +I want to say they don't use the word zombie until the prison/after the prison? I don't know.

Something about Maggie stripping down in the middle of a store infront of someone she didn't really know. Pretty sure the next episode they got attacked there as well.

I'm not sure if labeling them as sluts is the right thing to do here. Since it's the apocalypse it's kinda hard to use the same profiling that we use right now. A lot of weird stuff is going on with them emotionally could have something to do with their "slutty" behavior

+ Show Spoiler [Comics] +They actually do call the Zombies, "Zombies" from what I remember I do recall it in volume 3 (which is where the Prison arc starts). Maybe even the latter part of volume 2. I don't quite remember exactly the first occurrence of it but they used either that or "Roamers" when referring to the Zombies.

Good stuff to listen to while you're studying, it is that boring... At least the second season. But yeah, as someone already said, it is made much better than the rest of tv-shows.

The Walking Dead is a great show. I love how the main characters best friend is becoming so evil.

So I just caught up on the Walking Dead, and I must say I'm not digging this season so far. The first one was good, it was a zombie show and there was a good deal of suspenseful moments and stuff like that. However, the second season until now has been more of a soap opera than a zombie show. I think they need to ditch this farm and forest environment and move back to a city because that's where all the best scenes happened. Being holed up in a tank surrounded by zombies is COOL! Covering yourself in zombie guts and walking in the middle of hundreds of them is AWESOME! Listening to Shane go on about how he loves his best friend's wife is ZZZZZZ.

Roamers are the ones that walk around, and Lurkers just kinda stay put until something edible comes near them or something attracts their attention (gunshots, etc). And then there's swarms which are just big groups of zombies who wander, and can include Lurkers which are being stimulated by the large number of Roamers.

I feel like Lori is sort of the evil one to be honest. She's not that much better than Shane, she's in total denial and her scene at the end with Rick in the last episode was really some Grima Wormtongue shit.
Part of the reason why Shane is sort of losing it is because Lori won't acknowledge or take responsibility for anything that happened with him, she's constantly hounding him with the guilt of telling her Rick was dead despite being told what the hospital was like when Shane got there. Then, despite having her and her son saved multiple fucking times by Shane, she continues to pretend he's nothing but a threat.
She's the real threat, to be honest I sort of see her as the villain of the show right now.

That last scene reminded me of Macbeth's wife from the play Macbeth.
