Yeah that song absolute destories dance floors when he drops that song. Although my favoriate song from him right now is perception. I absolute love how he kept the main riff but added his own style as well. The super8 & tab remix is pretty good as well. Can't wait to see Markus, Ferry Corsten, and ATB at Nocternal on Sept. 25th.
I'm a huge fan of progressive, tech-house,deeper trance etc. I used to love those epic anthems but recently (well, it all started with discovering Jerome Isma-Ae's style like year ago) I started to like more bass heavy tracks.
So as my first contribution, l have to post few JIA's tracks.
Just saw this thread and decided to advertise for a good friend of mine
One of my best mates from oklahoma (been friends since 3rd grade) is half of Computer Blue and as a rabid fan, i will shamelessly promote his work. Check it out @
I've been showing SHM-One to all my friends and i keep getting texts the next day "hey...what was that techno song we listened to yesterday" ITS SOOOO GOOD
anyways, deadmau5 is coming to michigan at the end of october, and while i dont really listen to their style (more of an armin, markus, andy moor, etc guy) i still wanna go because apparently they're pretty awesome live.
and on another note, markus schulz is KILLING it on global dj broadcast right now, i'd definitely download todays sesion at alldj.org as soon as it gets released. chooon after choon.
That SHM mafia song One is awesome. Thanks for sharing. Last weekend I went to metropolis in Edmonton and they had an insane lineup.
Sander Van Doorn, Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila and then on the other side was Fulguk, DJ Areo and Tommy Lee. Sadly Joachim Garruad couldn't make it. I'm pretty sure i heard One that night, I think Sander played it, was incredible to hear live.
I think Edmonton, Alberta gets alot of good DJ's coming through our city.

edit: asot 473 is 2 hours of pure ARMIN
I saw deadmau5 last year in Dallas and he killed it. I definitely don't listen to that type very often but I can't wait to see him live again. On another note I can't wait to see Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, ATB, and Simon Patterson on the 25th. Also SHM - One is like the biggest song going out there right now with everyone literally playing it no matter what style they play. I remember last weekend listening to Electric Zoo Festival both days, like literally every single DJ dropped that song.
P.S. Has anyone seen Above & Beyond lately? I just saw them like 2 weeks ago and was very disappointed in their set for a second straight time.

Haha, Aly & Fila were horrible. I spent the majority of the night in the house room, or walking around... SVD and Gareth were ok. When Showtek came on everyone went nuts. I never listen to hardstyle but that was pretty fucking sick.

And the other half, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo owns a label called "Crydamoure" that has released two compilation mixes called "Waves" and "Waves II". Those albums include a handful of tracks which he and Eric Chédeville teamed up under the name "Le Knight Club". Both albums are a bit laid back, but very funky with a helping of disco. If you like Daft Punk I do not think these albums are much of a stretch.
List of Artists on both Compilations:
Le Knight Club
Crydajam (another group which includes Guy-Manuel, Play Paul, Eric Chédeville + more)

i am so jealous on so many levels.
Just got my tickets for deadmau5 though, hope its awesome!
Is it better to go high or drunk?
Drunk is pretty awful for electronic music events. I hate drunk people. I love people on E.
Also, for any TL'ers into prog/electro/tech house in Calgary, I play out at Sals on 17th pretty much every Saturday (if for some reason I'm not there one Sat, I most likely will be the next). If any nerds would like to come, I can provide guestlist (PM me). To make my life easier with the club management, I would prefer it if people showed up instead of no-showing for their guest; I am provided guest list on the expectation that people I invite will come and buy some drinks.
I hope mods don't mind this, it's not like an ad or anything. Just offering more opportunities for people to go out and enjoy some good music, free of cover charge.
