Nuker mids doesn't give a shit about armor. And if alchemist is smart, he will go hood first just like EE. But raindrops buy enough time. Supports buying raindrops means nuker mid tempo control also get less effective, not just the mid matchup.

Using pugna aghs to counter illusions was pretty cute. Kept them from dying to SD + Alch illusion spam. Too bad they were so far behind it didn't matter

Raindrops were a big indirect buff to Alchemist. They almost singlehandedly phased out spellcasters with high burst damage from the midlane. Once he gets the new and improved Armlet, the current standard mids have issues with killing him too.
