Yeah. From what I can tell, Starladder didn't do a very good job of finding a venue so BTS decided to let them use their house. Could also be that Starladder just saw an opportunity to save on costs and three of the teams were there already anyway, though.

I remember hearing that a venue in San Fran and one in LA fell through, thus why they ended up at the BTS house.
First game DJ's Nyx single handily won fnatic the game. Countless great initiations and pickoffs. I thought SK last pick mid would have won Navi the game...
Also Mushi Invoker what??? You have one of the best Invoker players in the world, and you let someone who's known to not like micro/multi key heroes. It's not like Huskar is a hard hero to play....

I think navi late game is better if they can stop throwing.

What makes you assume Mushi wanted to play Invoker?
There's still time to recover, but they have to put MidOne back in middle and make 343 the drafter again or they're going to place way under their potential at TI 6.

Yeah I just mean as an analyst or whatever his position would be to be there for the entire event. Don't mind a bit of him but he gets so annoying and is honestly so arrogant with some on his opinions against those who know far more than him.

1. Nahaz travels to TI with col 2. Col doesn't get past wildcard 3. Nahaz is still in Seattle 4. Might as well invite him to panel cuz he is a talent.
i'd hope valve at least considers the possibility of col getting through the wildcards and thus nahaz being busy for the actual event so they hire somebody else and his talent won't be required.

I think it's good that Nahaz made this arrangement now, instead of later if that's the case. Just so Valve can hire someone else. Hopefully Redeye?

At this point I'd rather have fucking Slackz on the panel with his cringefest instead of Nahaz.

Honestly nobody on CDEC.Y looked as good as we've seen from them in the past. Possibly a drafting issue but they can play a lot better - particularly Ame, whose Slark was just... eh.

It's a textbook "fuck Slark and fuck NS" game though. What Slark can even do against well grouped heroes running down towers, especially with potm/ET AoE combo. I won't bother with usefulness of NS this game.

Yeah, draft wasn't great, but Slark dying to a solo BM when he has BKB and ult? One mistake, whatever, but it's a notable one and was emblematic of his lack of plays.

To be honest i missed that moment but i would not be surprised if Slark could do none to avoid that death.

Blink into Roar gives you enough time to press Q or BKB or ult, any of which would have saved him.

Oh yeah, barely edging out C9 on actual h2h against Chinese.
EG went 6-6 against Chinese teams while C9 went 2-4. Wtf are you talking about. EG definitely had very good results against Chinese teams, apart from iG they had a positive record against every top team at the time and they have kept this up since then. On the other hand they struggled against CIS teams a lot.

Game score. During round robin, EG lost to iG and DK, C9 to DK, LGD and Newbee.
Next: C9 lost 0-2 to DK and 1-2 to VG (and beat LGD 2-1)

I think BTS had an arrangement with StarLadder to hold it in the house. Probably for the better considering it's already equipped for Dota tournaments and doesn't require spending on a stadium to host it. So it's like having The Summit 5 2.0 almost.

6-6 is 'very good results'? :p
It isn't but this was the tournament where EG had the arguably the worst results against the chinese (which is why it's used by lolfail as a counter argument to the fact that they used to do very well) and they still did fine. A month after that they beat every Chinese team at WEC and didnt lose a series against them apart from VG until TI5. And even after that Ehome is the only team to beat them in an elimination match until the Manila major.
On the other hand they kept getting the short hand against Secret and struggled against CIS teams more than they should (or had better results against Chinese teams than they should depending on your point of view).

and that's how they won TI5 Chinese team bomb all western team that they struggle against and later on the top 4 there's only Chinese team which they reap against
and if your stat is correct they have a huge chance to be top 4 because only 1 CIS team present in TI6 and looking at current situaton only Liquid and OG can beat Chinese team

I'm not sure EG is going to keep their record against Chinese teams now tho. I think part of their success was that LGD, VG, nb, CDEC used to draft very similarly in between series (and apart from TI5 CDEC, similarly to each other). Looking back the teams EG had the hardest time beating are the ones doing weird shit (lanm DK, Ehome, black VG), and Wings and Nb definitely don't play the same way and do wonky drafts, especially Wings. Same with Mvp.
