I'd actually prefer that the Majors did the same thing with the Group Stage. (With 4 groups, rather than 1 day for each, you'd play 1/2 on Day 1 and the other 1/2 on Day 2. Repeat for groups 3/4 & days 3/4.) For the bracket stage, it adds a day, but we don't get too many series in one day. Improves it for the in-arena audience as well. 2 Bo3s is one thing. 6 Bo3s is another. Or having to drop to Bo1s to keep it sane in the Lower Bracket. | ||

I really love Dota, but very often, when the time comes for the semis/finals of a Major or even The International I have been watching so many games for so long that I'm burned out enough to lose interest in the matches that matter most. There's been too many tournaments where I've just watched the highlights of the finals because I didn't care anymore. | ||
