Not every tournament organizer is gonna run a massive qualifier w/ the "big" teams. They do not fetishize competitive integrity as much as you guys do lmao. Only valve majors/ti should be held to that standard imo. DiG won a match, while Secret continued to win nothing.
Not sure if it is retroactively, since direct invites, is continuously being questioned. Essentially you try to say that not every tournament is gonna cut "Big" teams from direct invites, because they don't care about competitive integrity, in an competitive environment, and decide to call the narrative opposing it stupid, and shouldn't complain. You are a genius.

v1lat posted about the sound issues:
"You know that starting from Frankfurt Major we had those funny moments that people are already calling a feature of RuHub. Yes, I'm talking about the ЦЦЦ sounds and the robot-voice. For months we've been trying to identify the problem, and we've finally found it. We've been using DeckLink capture cards for streams from Kiev and now Moscow. Same cards are used, for example, by GD Studio. They had those problems too. Due to a driver bug every 1 hour 45 min and 26 sec some shit happens and the robot-voice pops up for 2 minutes. The whole setup here at the Epicenter is also done with those cards, so we've had this problem here too. Today we finally got an answer from DeckLink developers, who promised to produce a patch to fix this issue ASAP. We can't really change the whole setup ATM. Yesterday guys from Comdi (the production team at the tournament) tried to do without those cards, and the result was (untranslatable). So, every two hours it's LIKELY that our trademark ЦЦЦ sound will pop up. There's hope that DeckLink will deliver the patch today/tomorrow, then everything will be tip-top, and we'll miss the ЦЦЦ. At the moment, apologies. I think everybody is happy with the sound quality today. It's really good. But every two hours the fun starts)) The next DeckLink capture card moment is due 14:05"

Damn... Need to spread this more Except No Diggity technically never qualified to the event so..... Im case you didn't get it He refer to the much maligned invite system It can occasionally be misused, but in general it's fine. I think we're currently in a period of uncertainty in terms of teams' quality that hasn't been seen since invites became the norm. If this uncertainty continues we should revisit the question of invites. If it's just a blip, it's not a big problem. No Diggity had the opportunity to qualify for the event but got 2-0'd by a team that got last in their group, so it's difficult to argue they're really missing out. Like I said on day1... the invites are just really volatile the way they're done. The news that Liquid would replace EHome was on march 7th, so the innitial invites must have been earlier. That's more than 2 months inbetween with a massive patch in there. On the other hand you can't really just invite 50 teams and play out the qualifiers on scene. I'd say the weird patch timing is to blame more than anything and maybe not make invites more than a month before an event.
But I mean in general we've seen the invite system work out well because while maybe one team will do poorly or whatever, it's normally the case that top teams stay at least challenging over time.
But currently, with big team changes and patches, we're seeing teams be of unpredictable quality in a way we haven't for a long time.

Are you by any chance implying that both captains will be out of position frequently and possibly feed? Coz that never happens.

uh invites were handed out a long time ago. pretty dumb to complain about it half way through the tournament lmao. it may be surprising to you but competitive integrity is not the top priority of tournament organizers. they care about it cause no one wants to play or watch a sham tournament, but it's not why tournaments are held in the first place.

People complain about it since they are made. Proof of them being right, just gives leverage to their argument.
Again, you are saying preserving competitive integrity in an competitive environment shouldn't be argued for, because.. you know, you feel tournaments don't care as much, thus people shouldn't complain. I am sure tournaments have their reasons for catering to undeserving teams, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't complain about it, yes/no? How will there be changes if no one complains about things that are universally wrong and against the very spirit of eSport.
