For months we've been trying to identify the problem, and we've finally found it. We've been using DeckLink capture cards for streams from Kiev and now Moscow. Same cards are used, for example, by GD Studio. They had those problems too.
Due to a driver bug every 1 hour 45 min and 26 sec some shit happens and the robot-voice pops up for 2 minutes.
The whole setup here at the Epicenter is also done with those cards, so we've had this problem here too.
Today we finally got an answer from DeckLink developers, who promised to produce a patch to fix this issue ASAP.
We can't really change the whole setup ATM. Yesterday guys from Comdi (the production team at the tournament) tried to do without those cards, and the result was (untranslatable).
So, every two hours it's LIKELY that our trademark ЦЦЦ sound will pop up. There's hope that DeckLink will deliver the patch today/tomorrow, then everything will be tip-top, and we'll miss the ЦЦЦ.

But currently, with big team changes and patches, we're seeing teams be of unpredictable quality in a way we haven't for a long time.

uh invites were handed out a long time ago. pretty dumb to complain about it half way through the tournament lmao. it may be surprising to you but competitive integrity is not the top priority of tournament organizers. they care about it cause no one wants to play or watch a sham tournament, but it's not why tournaments are held in the first place.

People complain about it since they are made. Proof of them being right, just gives leverage to their argument.
Again, you are saying preserving competitive integrity in an competitive environment shouldn't be argued for, because.. you know, you feel tournaments don't care as much, thus people shouldn't complain. I am sure tournaments have their reasons for catering to undeserving teams, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't complain about it, yes/no? How will there be changes if no one complains about things that are universally wrong and against the very spirit of eSport.
