Fear is a much more flexible carry/person. EG had to sit between several stools trying to make it work, and played to greed and their uncanny resiliance fighting against the wall.Show nested quote + On May 12 2016 03:48 Plansix wrote: On May 12 2016 03:46 Danzo wrote: I like when Sumail completely owns in a game and all the Sumail haters are quiet ![]() He is a player that loves to be aggressive. He loves to fight and sometimes he dies. People fault him for it, but players want the ball. I'm sure it's his personality that makes people dislike him but I really like Sumail's playstyle and would like to see more of it. He has the type of mindset in game where he wants to prove he's the better player by playing matchups where he's at a disadvantage or just going for these crazy kills as opposed to your conservative pro mid laners. I do think his best heroes has been nerfed and people like to point out his hero pool From my perspective, I think TI5 EG also just supported Sumail the best. If Sumail fed in lane and was setback, EG made it a priority to stack as much jungle camps and make as much space to ensure he had a way back in. I never really saw that when RTZ was in the roster.

Focus too much on the big name matches that often feature the same teams (EG has had limitations at high-ground since 2014 now, it's a team thing not a patch thing), forget about the thousands of matches that end without as much as a bump. If EG is bad at going high ground, no western team is good at it lol. The true way to balance comeback gold is to give every hero different comeback gold multiplier (aka spectre) It's already present for all assist gold. I'm not talking about the amount that based on 1 to 5 farm Then what you are talking about? Because there are 2 multipliers, 1 based on victim's farm and another on killer's farm. And no, assigning a per hero name multiplier is simply stupid considering patchy nature of the game. How is it stupid when the comeback gold mechanics already destroy years of hero balance where they originally take into account each different hero has differing amount of effectiveness with gold Because hero changes will happen anyways and readjustment of comeback multipliers will not follow. You are basically adding another variable for no reason. Except you do not need to adjust it for every hero, only for those clear cut ones like alchemist, spectre

I never really saw that when RTZ was in the roster. with RTZ in the game, a lot of the heroes were nerfed, and the jungle was made harder for stacking, which changed the dynamic and went against the regular EG "farm more" playstyle. In addition RTZ also played more farmy than Fear did so it was harder to allow the mid to be greedy if both the safelane and offlane also usually play greedy.
