IDK vp doesnt look as bad as people make them out to be. Yeah it is strange, they look a bit unorganized, but they are not bad. Some of their decisions are really questionable though(like going 4 onto Bane behind Tier 1 tower when they know that both Slardar and Elder Titan are there).

VP's damage output and pickoff potential is incredible in all stages of the game. If the Drow was the carry they would be on a massive clock, but they have WR and Lion+Venge as their supports. This is an extremely hard game for Sumail to play. After certain point people can get to drow and smack her. And Suma1l made it harder for himself.

This is an extremely hard game for Sumail to play. I think it's because until the last patch or two, Drow has been viewed as a cheesy hero. But with her recent buffs, she's a decent carry. Gust feels like a totally different spell with the cast point change.

Yeah, my point is that it isn't even that relevant if the Drow isn't even the carry. VP has extremely strong lategame heroes which are buffed by Drow aura. And the Drow still contributes by taking rosh and towers extremely quickly if they ever take a fight. Don't get me wrong, obviously EG can wipe VP with one good initiation. But VP has the far superior lineup for a split up lategame scenario.

That's why you only see w33 plays it in Secret as they were the only team capable of dragging to late game.

Yea I suppose the sentiment is mostly based on people thinking that Drow is a cheesy pushing hero, when it really doesn't even have to be played as such
