Because of two games against one of the worst middle players in professional Dota?
He's one of the best middle players out there, but there are plenty of top European and American middle players who are able to stand up to him, including a few in this tournament.

i'm going to try my best as a major newb. these are GSL groups. consider that both groups are played at the same time if possible. A vs B C vs D winner vs winner ---------------------------------- that is the first event day
loser vs loser [winner of losers] play [losers of winners] loser of either goes home in last and second last respectively. (i believe)
ultimately this decides playoffs/brackets in SEMIFINAL > grandfinal which are played same day? grandfinals may be left for the last day on the 24th, any segment of the above like leaving one semifinal > grandfinal combined to be the final event day.

A vs B - Game 1 C vs D - Game 2 Winner Game1 vs Winner Game2 <-- Game 3, Winner is 1st place Loser Game1 vs Loser Game2 <- Game 4, last place finish for the team that lost Loser Game3 vs Winner Game4 for 2nd / 3rd place Is it straight up double elim from the group stages? So Liquid are already in WB finals? I don't know anything about double elim but from the looks of it there's no double elim at all and the above is just for "seeding". You do it twice (group A + group B) and you end up with the top 2 teams in both teams playing out the 4-team brackets Show nested quote +On April 22 2016 20:34 uriel- wrote:
Edit: Or GSL style, 2 teams go through from each group and then 1A vs 2B, 2A vs 1B maybe. yeah that
Thanks! I thought that this is probably the case, but the way it was presented on page 1 could mean anything.

Fata managed to lose lane as viper to wr with a Lvl 1 rosh advantage. Scandal is only good on 2 heroes max. Limpp isn't known for dominating mid performances either.

All of those players are able to handle him. I think this game shows it.

that rosh fight -_-
ohaiyo out of control

the problem i see is that lifestealer is living on foodstamps here. playing against a spectre who's useful even while doomed.

Just woke up and saw that secret lost 2-0 to empire.
It makes me so happy that a team that refuses to play games get rekt when they finally have to play a real match.
Hope they realise you can't just scrim, you have to actually play something that matters to get better as a team.

what do you mean by playing something that matters? most players were playing strictly scrims recently, if you take a look at dota profiles. (how there aren't any games recorded) i've also been paying attention to dotatv and very few players on pro-teams were playing more than a handful of pubs a day. what it seems like is that pubs are warmup or wind-down for them.

That was some Xboct shit from Net, I love it lmao
