This is an excellent point. It's not terrible for Lina to get farmed but other heroes needed to be delivering the 12 killing blows he racked up early.

Chinese strongly believe in grouping up, 1 key kill into objectives. They pride themselves in being able to engage or hunt effectively. Western teams believe in aggressive farming all over the map. Even if they die, they often have farmed more than they loss, especially when their other cores are farming while the opponent sends the whole squad to kill. They look to hit a certain late game farm window. Chinese supports believe in protecting cores by being near them. Numbers advantage makes it difficult to gank the cores. Western supports believe in protecting cores by simply drawing the enemy towards them instead of the cores.

Newbee just got out to a much better lead than EG should have allowed. But EG's cores were always getting farm. You're reporting symptoms, not the disease Newbee balled up as 5 looking for kills and t2s, never graduating past that to getting chip damage on t3s Their pacing for killing t2s was acceptable (a little slow imo) but they completely failed to use their highly bulky cores combined with the incredible disengage potential from their aegises, aoe stuns, and aoe slows to safely deal chip damage to t3s They simply lack discipline, confidence, and game vision: one of those three is enough to push through their advantage and win Saying that Fear and PPD are the only ones down on farm is bluntly ignorant, because it completely fails to recognize the huge disparity in power lent to each team by their supports up to about 40 minutes in This is not just a game of cores

And even though 2Lei plays well, but not even a single point on the poison can be the reason why their lanes get out pushed all the time.

If you said secret picked LD i would expect envy or w33ha to play the hero but i think 3 games today has been like that kinda like how alliance does 2 farming cores + 1 dude who creates space. In this case w33ha playing invoker and puck mostly w33ha and envy creating space. uhm it's kinda signature playstyle by alliance On January 28 2016 00:04 spudde123 wrote: Group B is pretty crazy for tomorrow. Mineski is guaranteed 5th but otherwise the positions are wide open. Secret for example is guaranteed 1st with a 2-0 over coL, but they may be 4th if they lose 0-2. wait they are not playing coL today?

Why are not VG or LGD doing first phase LD and Spectre and manage to win...

And even though 2Lei plays well, but not even a single point on the poison can be the reason why their lanes get out pushed all the time. In many situations it is acceptable to think of this in terms of "push," but not this game Here is what top teams do to secure their advantage, and what Newbee did not do 1. Use smokes to terrorize the enemy team AND put up wards, gaining critical vision that makes 2 and 3 safe 2. Use either highly mobile cores or your supports to push side lanes 3. Group up and take t2s or Roshan, wasting no time and moving decisively from objective to objective 4. If side lanes are pushed, go back to 2 until you have a good position again 5. Once you have aegis and a clear path to the enemy base, move up and deal chip damage for usually 2 waves (aegis unnecessary if you have fantastic rescue or a hero like DK) 6. Keep doing the whole lane-pushing chip-damage thing until you break t3s, and then use that lane to force enemy movement 7. At every point, deny enemy vision and use ganks with no more than 3 heroes to quickly shut down enemy farming attempts Adjust slightly depending on how good the enemy team's high ground defense is relative to the tankiness of the SINGLE CORE which you send in front to push Newbee only understand base assault in terms of big all or nothing pushes, which is why they played so dumb and ultimately lost
