He's Singaporean, so he speaks English with a Singaporean accent. But English is also one of the official languages of Singapore, and many (most? not sure of the percentages) younger Singaporeans are native English speakers.

Oh, I did not know that about Singapore, thank you! Yeah I know, I was talking more about he seemed to be talking in short, simple sentences compared to the rest of the cast. But it's the first time in a while, if ever, that I am watching him, so I might've spoken too soon.

If you listened to Fly and Bulba when Game 3 was ending, they actually predicted this as one of the options that FNG could have gone. FNG could have picked Radiant, but decided to choose First pick again to pick up SF on Dire. If you look at the 3rd bans on both sides, thats really where the draft starts. There's a lot more to drafting that just picking heroes, it's a lot about mentality and mindgames that come into play. PPD is fine with VP having SF Dire, VP is fine with EG having Dazzle Gyro. The rest of the draft is where it gets interesting due to the longer series.

Honestly singapore/malaysia english are more than just accents so it confuses people for good reasons. don't feel bad about that. But ye, ice3 can speak singlish so it can be hard for some people to listen.
