Seriously guys, results are results. I cant stay EG but never would I tell they are shit just because they dropped early from 1 or 2 tournaments in the past. And top4 is a solid result for OG already. This "1st or go fuck yourself you are shit" mentality in esports is just something else.

Newbee finishing bottom 15th-16th. LGD and CDEC finishing 6th-8th. VG and Ehome finishing 3rd-5th. In previous tournaments, the Chinese teams usually grouped together in terms of their performances. This is the first time they've been this spread out. It speaks of fundamental issues with each teams' level of preparation, and the way the reshuffle went.

That's still pretty fucking good prolly i'm not sure

VG or ehome can still finish top 3 dude i mean shit if vg win it all our tones will all change. still a bad showing from china overall, and yeah VG are underdogs, but they could still win.

Getting 4th has to be seen in context. They probably don't make anywhere near top 4 if they land on the wrong half of the bracket (ie facing Ehome or Vega who they lost 2-4 this tournament)

Cdec is kinda still stuck in the previous patch. I think they really need to work on expanding their hero pool and play style, because they have been very very predictable.

PPD has yet to show his team knows how to play Meepo, so by this argument, they ought to lose, yes?

Newbee finishing 13th-16th isn't really different or surprising they placed 13th-16th at both TI5 and DAC as well

From what I hear, they actually tried this time, and in fact, they were doing okay in Chinese tournaments.

All I'm saying is being able to run meepo gives you a huge advantage in draft. An additional option to win via out draft.
