Well we'll see how Secret plays in the remaining games. I would chalk this performance up to them probably not playing at all together since the major, whilst Vega is playing the games from the same room. Of course there is the last chance bracket even if they were to lose, but I would guess this is a small wakeup call and they will be better tomorrow.

pretty sure if your last game was 2 weeks ago it's safe to say you're not in form right now after you get 2-0'd by Vega
not that Vega is a bad team or anything but it's a game secret should win if they were in the same form they were at frankfurt

The major final was almost 2 weeks ago and Secret has probably been on a break. Not too far fetched to assume they might be a bit rusty.

100k is peanuts for them. Out of the many LANs they are attending, I doubt they will mind missing 1 or 2 that are bad production wise for players. Rest/More scrimming time is also required for a team to perform in the long term.

I don't think the issue is teams not caring. It's more that it's simply not possible to be at your best for every game. OG was at 2 LANs, then in between that and the Defense they had to play some online games. It's really no wonder if they can't get too hyped up for the games and end up losing for example to NaVi. Secret on the other hand was probably on a break after the major, showed up to play and got smashed. I think they will play better today now that they got a small wake up call and they actually have to win if they want to get the straight qualification spot.

BS reasoning? lmao. There's a difference between drafting seriously and playing seriously. All teams try to play to win even when they are not on form. But whether they draft to their 100% to suit the patch is a totally different matter. Just because they are official matches doesn't mean they can't treat them like scrims. Yea EG doesn't attend, that's why they are always fucked on day 1 in LANs. Official matches are still 1 level higher than private scrims for practice. Secret isn't a tier 2 team which need to prove themselves as badly. Losses won't break their confidence and momentum as much
