On the whole I think Valve have done a really good job with the schedule so far.

However, it's fair to say western viewers will respond better to an EG 3-0 than they did to an NB 3-0.

If the finals are bad in any way you can guarantee there's going to be a reddit thread about it, they complain about everything. Threads complaining about some minor thing valve hasn't fixed hit front page, do you really think they won't criticize a bad finals just because it's a western team?

Does this mean that when you see something more common such as NASA you would actually say "n-a-s-a"? Generally in English people tend to try and say acronyms as words so the National Aeronautics and Space Agency is just nasa. The interesting thing is that typically acronyms are designed to be spoken as words. So a lot of time the actual words in them are semi nonsense. For example if I were to make a robot that picked up kiwis I could call it a F.O.R.K or Front Operated Robot for Kiwis.

They will just outdraft the opposition and bore them out of the game like they always do. I don't really see any of the remaining teams beating them unless ppd chokes. so... secret 2.0 ?

EG has been the (possible) secret 2.0 before the tournament even started.
