Oh look, it's another Medusa game where the Medusa lineup is worse at every stage of the game. I really don't know why the Chinese teams have such a hardon for the hero.
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

Medusa is a great hero when you all do is 5v5, farm up, 5v5, farm up, rinse and repeat.

To be fair Chinese teams are losing with Jugg alot too...only the Western teams seem to be able to win with him.

It's not the picks... It's the mid game rotations. EG beat Chinese teams simply by out farming them and then getting great vision control & picking 1-2 heroes off, forcing a buyback, then backing and rinse and repeating.

Should we blame medusa or the teams that are picking her ?

VG, BG and LGD won with the hero

They did the same with fear lone druid in that 1 - 13 killlead for the enemy, but they still won because EG farm better.

This is a repeat of ti3 where Chinese drafts/gameplay are lagging behind western drafts. You can see how western 1-4 positions are constantly more efficient than the Chinese. It used to not be an issue because random Chinese teams still outskill most of the lesser teams with ease, but right now they are struggling to even take down HR or rave.

It seems Chinese teams are behind in farm pattern comparing to the western team.
Western team are so much better in utilizing the jungle resource and camp stacks.
Especial EG and Secret, they can pull ahead in EXP and Gold by around 300 per min with stale mate lanes.
Same story in happened in TI3.
The TI4 push strat just covered up the weak points of the Chinese teams.

Well it's just the tradition, odd TI years belong to the West, China only wakes up for evens.

Selective memory there. They've won plenty with medusa too.

Well even when those teams win sometimes, it was usually a struggle. I blame manta, linkens, and lack of mom or bkb.

And the only actual impact medusa had in those games was being a bait while everyone else does actual lifting.
