Navi plays NB and TF, they should be good. iG's road is a bit more difficult. BG still plays EG and VG, Navi's situation may be actually better than theirs.
HR still plays MVP and TF, while the other 5-5's already played the bottom 3, so they probally also have decent odds to stay in the top half. iG vs HR will probably be one of the most important matches of the day.
I believe in C9 now. They still play the bottom 3 and have what it take to take a couple games of the other teams. I would give them better odds than the 5-5's. Their game vs LGD is the last of the day tomorrow and it may end up being a qualification match, which is cool.
Since Ehome beat HGT, bottom 4 probally stay as they are.
A bit of a repost from one I made on reddit regarding Newbee's situation.
The best record they can muster at this point is a 6-9.
Looking at the standings, at least one of the teams in the yellow will need to lose really badly for Newbee to take it. As for the matches Newbee face in the next couple of days, they are up against the following teams : Na'Vi, HGT, C9, Ehome and CDEC.
Of which Na'Vi's not likely to face elimination. Good thing is the 4 last teams Newbee have to face are the 10th to 13th placed teams at the moment, and they are facing fairly difficult matchups on their end, so Newbee has a chance of making real impact with good victories tomorrow.
As for the matches each of them face other than Newbee: All of them have to face MVP, EG and VG. 2 really tough matchups, and 1 matchup where they have a chance to win.
Other matchups: CDEC : Tongfu. HGT : LGD and iG. Ehome : Rave. C9 : iG and LGD.
Of which I'd say HGT has it the hardest. But to qualify this isn't enough. Assuming the other teams that aren't mentioned keep their relative pacing without suffering consecutive defeats, they need at least another team among these 4 to qualify, and the next one on the chopping block amongst these 4, depending on how you look at it, would probably either be Ehome or C9.
So I guess they have a reasonable chance. But they can't afford to lose a single game from now onwards.
Why did C9 EG game got pushed to last day ... It was the only game i was interested in watching , but i forgot is on :| Now i come and see it didnt even play out lol ...

I think it's pretty safe to assume that the top 4 in the standings are going to the winner's bracket. I'd also say it's pretty likely that Newbee and MVP.Phoenix are out of the running, so I'd like to examine that middle slice and see what might happen:
So, looking at this further, I think I can draw the following conclusions:
1) I can't see Na'Vi not making it to the next round as a top 8 team. They still have to face Newbee and Tongfu which are fairly easy games, and those two wins will probably be enough to be top 8. iG is pretty safe but has to be a little careful, as they a deceptively hard schedule left.
2) LGD and Rave are actually in pretty precarious positions, as their schedules are absolute murder. I'm not really sure what to expect here, as Rave has some of the best statistics in the whole tournament but are only 5-5 due to some poor decision making in a few games. I still think they are a top 8 team, but they have to steal one from BG or Secret to be safe imo. HR is pretty safe to be a top 8 team, as they have probably the weakest schedule left of any team. I don't see any of these teams being eliminated in the bottom 12.
3) I actually really like C9, CDEC's, and EHome's chances here, as they all still have to play MVP and Newbee. Baring a super resurgence of those two teams, that's a couple of pretty easy wins and puts them in pretty nice shape. However, they all have to play EG and VG still, which is tough on them.
4) Tongfu is screwed imo; they have a ridiculous schedule and are already in too big a hole. HGT would have to absolutely run a train on the Chinese teams, but they get Newbee and MVP, so anything is possible.
After looking at this, as well as current standings, I think I'll have to go with this:
Top 8: Secret, EG, VG, BG, Na'Vi, HR, iG, CDEC
Next 4: LGD, Rave, C9, EHome
Out: HGT, Tongfu, MVP, Newbee
I really hope Rave makes the top 8, because that would be a cool story, but they have a tough schedule. C9's in the same boat as Rave imo, and their schedule might actually be more difficult. Feel free to agree or disagree with me! The group is finally taking shape.
C9 got really fucked by one day of tilt gaming. All the games which they won so far have been one sided stomps, with the longest game lasting 26 minutes vs Rave. If they can put Day 2 behind them, they are more than capable of making it to top 8 IMO.
What surprised me most about big god is xiao8 actually doing well in lane. I saw him win the sf vs troll lane which should be a given, but its xiao8 and you usually see him sucking in lane.
