I wish he was on for the grand finals. Synderen is really the best analyst commentator imo.

This is like the chants of "need Brasil in the World Cup finals because it's in Brasil". Just no, I'm here for the best Dota, if I want to watch some regional shit there are tons of events to choose from. This is the World Cup, one event chosen to test all the styles. With double elimination the best prevail and the best is all I care about. Now please finish quick, VG, I need to go to work and repeat that shit tomorrow. Shitty Euro time ;( I also want the best. And can't do a shit about it if it's VG. I even thought newbee was gonna win. Good thing they are in the grand finals but please. I really love the global feeling of the scene. To be honest i really don't want dota 2 scene to become chinese>everyone. It will kill the thrill if ever a chinese faces a EU or NA or SEA team i don't want it to turn out. "Oh so chinese is facing a EU/NA/SEA time to do something else, they are gonna lose anyways." . If VG wins today. Then well deserved (i think newbee wins anyways). Why is it that you think this will happen? The dota2 scene has NEVER been anywhere near the sc2 and there is no sign that it would turn out that way. Stop being so narrowminded. TI2 was pretty bad fy AA! But then TI3 happened. yeah i wonder how chinese scene reacts, if they get the same number of tourneys, and same for west. more LANs? or less LANs where they invite chinese teams? lol

But while the radiant/dire was somewhat even during group-stage now that we only have the top teams left radiant shows to be much stronger. During the main event Radiant has won almost twice as many games as Dire. 14 Wins for Radiant and 8 for Dire. Part of that is firstpick advantage, another part is simply Radiant offers much better laning opportunities. I understand taking Dire if firstpick is not an option, especially if you have a preference for it. But essentially giving up firstpick to choose dire seems like a mistake to me...

Why is it that you think this will happen? The dota2 scene has NEVER been anywhere near the sc2 and there is no sign that it would turn out that way. Stop being so narrowminded. No, but the dota 1 scene has. If you're worried about china > everything there's lots of valid reasons for concern. Agreed. Dota 2 is very healthy since there are good teams in every region. If one country becomes dominant, I think there will be a big loss of interest. It was the case in sc2 and many other games as far as I know. LoL is fine. Korea's B-team all-killed the entire foreigner world and its still doing fine. Hmm, it hasn't been the case for too long. And also LoL is a bit different, since Riot organizes essentially all the big tournaments, so they can isolate certain regions. When you don't have this structure, such as in SC2, there have been many failed tournaments because they tried to have NA only tournaments, and then viewers thought quality was too low or something, so they didn't watch. But if it's a top 16 all korean, a lot of people lose hype too. (especially if the Korean's are pretty new, like if Taeja, Jaedong, MC wins it's different, but Solar playing Stardust is just like a meh finals to a lot of people).
