NP in the 1 position has become a bit of a thing recently again, VG running it in game 1 against C9, and it worked out great for them because it helped them push as well as provided a way to stop the split push of C9 when VG took the advantage.
I was thinking that would be a good hero for C9 to give Envy in some of these lineups instead of Invoker. He can be played as a right clicker which is what they try and do with Invoker as well, and he can accomplish most of what Invoker can if not just as much or more with the teleport skill and treants. The hero has a lot of utility, and would fit C9's mutli-core style because they can put SingSing on a mid that benefits from a lot of farm and bOne7 on one of his usual initiators or space creators. He could get involved in teamfights while quickly being able to go back to farming. Just seems like a really good hero that fits his style of play really well. I wish they would try it out unless I'm just being delusional and it's not good at all :'(
