He looks better because the team plays around him and gives him heroes that farm and don't have to be proactive (the games he did well in were on heroes like Furion, Tinker, Weaver, SF)--which results in him getting more farm, less deaths, higher stats, and less opportunities to look bad. When he does have to be proactive on heroes like QoP/Storm/TA, he doesn't look better than any of the other members of the team.
