TL has a lot of hard matches tomorrow. They play DK, Newbee, and EG. Also Navi.US but they can win that one.

Liquid definitely seemed very well prepared.

CIS was terribly unprepared. Their entire draft amount to basically nothing. No lane strategy, no plans for anything, it seemed. MVP did as well as could be expected. It felt like VP just entered the qualifiers for a free trip to Seattle and nothing more.
When you came along so righteous with a new national hate, so convincing is the ardor of war and of men, it's harder to breathe than to believe you're a friend. The wars at home, the wars abroad, all soaked in blood and lies and fraud.

How much did Nazgul pay you to write that?

TL was by far the best team going into wildcard matches, so this was pretty expected.

Time for Korea to go home.

Ended better than expected. No one even thought they would get 2nd till TI next year.

Yeah, we will see. I keep hearing these legends of the Korean's kicking our ass. But they are just legend at this point that have no bearing on reality.

Really? Thats unrealistic. This is more of a quake/fgc situation. There will be 1-2 good teams and thats about it. This isn't a LoL/SC situation.

You know how some folks are, "Koreans are Esports Jesus, they can rule the Esports work the instant they care about the game". Its basically the argument they can make forever, because they can just say "oh they didn't care this time. Next year."

17th team at TI after losing to SEA tier 2 6 months before.

They're no joke, man.

Actually i agree .. they did better than expected .. they are doing pretty well ..

the only problem is that march is actually a dota veteran ..

but fuck these koreans they rule too much games already .. they can have the entire RTS scene not the damn MOBA scene

They have LoL. And they only got like 1/3 of the WC3 scene.

THEY OWN STARCRAFT

not that i was not a big fanboy of some of them

but THEY OWN STARCRAFT.

To be fair. They nearly created Starcraft single-handidly as a competitive game too.

Its easy to be the best at the game you made competitive, especially when no one else was trying and it was the only one of its kind.

CIS is a team that has Black on the roster and try to play around him. Black didn't magically go from arguably the worst carry player in the Western scene to a great player since the last TI.

You're right. He did improve a lot, though. It just wasn't magic.

Carrys are only as good as the supports that are around them. Black is a good player, but I have never seen him with the solid backbone of supports he has needed.

Problem was more that Liquid generally gives the enemy too much room in the mid game and late game, and generally falter when it comes to late game decision making. Exactly the kind of circumstances that CIS, and especially Black, thrive on.

But that's all bridge on the water now.

Who is MVP (lel) for Liquid? I am going to say Bulba. He was a beast. But damn Liquid plays so well when Wayto doesn't feed and TC makes good decisions.
