I think we are victims of our own hype here. We have been so pumped, we are bound to be let down if there are any problems with the group stage. This shit will likely all be gone by tomorrow. | ||

I agree and maybe I was a bit harsh, but in the last years the group stage didn't matter as much and all teams went to the final 3/4 days. This time people get eliminated and it actually matters a ton, so I would have liked to see them putting way more effort into the production | ||

I think it's pretty clear a ton of effort went into the main stage and this was just the side event, unfortunately all the hype from the prize money made this the first impression. Compared to past TIs where there was basically no production at all for the play-ins this is a step up, but compared to last TI main event it's an obvious and gigantic step down. | ||
