Why would a Chinese team and an American team scrim each other? Unless you are talking about scrimming before a LAN, there is 0 point in playing someone if the ping difference is absolutely massive
Beats me. Arteezy said in a Q&A but it was a bit ambiguous. Aui_2000 said potm bottom would scrim against scrim against Chinese teams and that was the main reason why we saw so much morphling from Chinese teams in TI2
If I recall correctly PPD said in an interview with Epi recently exactly that it's impossible to scrim against the Chinese because of the ping (I hope I'm correct about the interview). What Arteezy said was probably a misunderstanding, I would guess that he meant that they scrimmed and played DK at SL, and will do it again at the Summit. Are you sure the potm bottom thing wasn't also right before TI when the Chinese teams were already in the US? Sounds very strange otherwise
from what I know, pre-TI2, EHOME did scrim with Complexity constantly since they were banned by ACE.

arteezy said EG would be scrimming DK a lot prior to TI4 - ie. when they're both in America with no ping. and there's still a huge amount of value in scrimming even with massive ping as you can gain an understanding of the foreign drafting/playstyle, though the prevalence international lans make that not so important any more. last year EG were scrimming with tongfu before the ti3 qualifiers, for example.
C9 > DK, C9 > NB => C9 vs DT, NB vs Titan, DK vs [A], VG vs iG C9 > DK, C9 < NB => NB vs DT + three-way tiebreakers. C9 < DK, C9 > NB => NB vs DT, DK vs Titan, VG vs [A], C9 vs IG C9 < DK, C9 < NB => NB vs DT, DK vs Titan, VG vs [A], C9 vs iG.
I think DK will do everything possible to edge out Cloud 9.
